    What did the leader attack Telgarth with as he was minus a hand as per the previous note that Telgarth cut off his arm and got the ring?

    Telgarth regens 2 as he activates Longtooth Shifting, switches weapons as he charges the 'leader' Vamp and 26 barely hit (again!) 18+15=33/2 weakened=16 damage & the 'leader' Vamp is 'dead', slicing off his left hand as '19' grabs the magic ring with his immediate reaction. end of turn '4' still weakened.

    And is everything off the leader and the x broadsword wielding vamp?

    They all have 2 hands (claws).

    Yes, the broadsword Vamp & 'leader' Vamp have no items left. You have a nice ring, Aura has a nice broadsword, and Ember has a nice cloak.

    Unless their Flurry of Blows is different (which they may be...), FoB does not have the Weapon or Implement keywords are not normally used with weapons.

    The 8th level 'sped' Vamps, yes. The 'leader' Vamp, who does mostly psychic damage, the minion Vamps, etc no, they do not do necrotic. If you look through the Monster Manuals, only a little over half of the listed Vampires do necrotic, which is still a lot, but nowhere near all.

    Sorry I missed my last turn. Got a little too obsessed with a computer game and forgot to check in.

    Aura will:

    Standard - Shoot longbow at leader vamp with intent to pierce heart.

    Move - If killed leader, move into his spot. If not, move 1 N of Angelus. Either way move Spirit Companion 1 N of Wendy.

    Free - if killed leader, hand (or drop) broadsword to Telgarth.

    Minor - Spirit Healing on Telgarth. Angelus gets 2D6 HP.

    Since a longbow is a 2-handed weapon, you'd have to have dropped the broadsword before you shoot (you probably aren't wearing a sheath to sheath it). Did you want to revise actions, or drop bs as free action before you shoot?

    Revised Actions:

    Standard - Basic melee attack on 'dead' vamp next to me, trying to decapitate him with the broadsword. (Anything of interest I should know about this Broadsword while I've got it?)

    Move - go 1 S and 1 SW, move spirit companion 1 S of Wendy.

    Minor - Healing Spirit on Telgarth, 2D6 HP to Angelus.

    Free - "So we meet again ho-slut. Since you miss Luke so much, I hope you're ready to go meet him."

    Standard melee basic rolled '11'+8 (1/2 level +ability)... since you're not proficient with broadswords, I don't think you get it's +3 proficiency, do you get the +3 enchant? Makes the diference between dusting or missing...

    Aura & the Spirit move, Telgarth gets to use a surge & recovers 16 hits to 25/64, Angelus gains 7 to 21/59.

    Ashe's dominated turn he takes a big swing at Ember 32 hits for 15 radiant. End of turn '8' Ashe is still dominated.

    Correct, if she's not proficient she doesn't get the proficiency (+2) bonus but does get the enhancement bonus (+3).

    Angelus' turn:
    Minor: drink potion I took out last round

    If Aura dusted the leader...
    Standard: use Fallen Needle attack on Wendy, +5 damage from FF (FoB on hit)
    Move: shift 1S

    If the leader is not dusted...
    Move: shift 1NW
    Standard: use Five Storms attack getting the leader and Wendy (FoB if either hit on Wendy)


    Notes:
    Defenses AC25 Fort 22, Ref23, Will22
    After shifting if not bloodied AC26 Fort 22, Ref24, Will22
    If bloodied AC27 Fort 22, Ref24, Will22

    If I hit Wendy with FN she'll be -2 to hit me.

    Angelus drinks a potion using a surge & recovering 10 hits to 31/59...

    With the +3 enhancment of the sword, Aura did dust the Vamp, but the x-broadsword wielding Vamp, not the 'leader' Vamp, and she then moved into the square you wanted... (I think she wanted to be a shift away for Telgarth to grab the broadsword)

    Here's an updated map mid-Angelus' turn (drank potion)... revised standard/move actions?

    Even better...
    Move: use Five Storms movement to shift 1NW+1SW

    Standard: use Five Storms Attack getting the leader and Wendy
    If I hit the leader and bring him below zero I'll FoB on Wendy.
    If I miss the leader and hit Wendy I'll FoB on the leader.
    If I hit both and the leader is up, FoB on him, otherwise on Wendy.

    If I'm unable to shift for some reason, use Fallen Needle on Wendy.

    Yup, he certainly will use his immediate reaction on a melee-er heading for him... 32 v fort hit. Angelus is immobilized (save ends). Angelus strikes Wendy and 22vRef barely hits for 19+5FF+8flurry but the 19 alone was enough to drop her. End of turn '15' no longer immobile.

    As the light leaves her forever, Wendy shoots Aura a sadistic smile as she shape-shifts into an 11-yo very pretty little girl as her final action. She is stil dressed like a total whore and her corpse looks like she was recently very badly abused...

    Is it a minor or move action to take something from a normal corpse? If minor, Angelus also has a very nice ring, otherwise it's still on Wendy's finger.

    To pick up an unattended object is a minor action, but it may take a bit longer to remove a ring from a finger...

    Angelus already used his Minor, Move, and Standard actions. He'll have to wait until next turn to get the ring.

    Meh. Simplification. Making an exception doesn't add to storyline. (Stick with minor action)

    With the Mayor gone, radiant is now doing full damage and 29, 16 hit for 17+5=dust. Blade, Ember, baddies...

    You are 12 sq away. Switching actions to run & EN Damn... 29-5 run =24 hit for 9 +5 NS +2d6=9 +2 bloodied=25. falchion Vamp is 'dead' & pulled 2 sq. Ember's turn, then baddies...

    I believe Blade just killed that one. I think the only enemy left is Mercury.

    (The NW is Mercury...) Ember moves the BIG to Mercury's S & 19 v ref miss.

    baddies turn...

    Mercury starts taking 5 vulerability from the sunblades (now that the Mayor left) & moves E to Telgarth and locks eyes and 31 touches your cheek giving you 10 psychic damage and you are slowed & -2 to will saves (save ends both)

    After that, several black vans with police lights on top and "Homeland Security - Terror Unit" with a federal logo as well painted on the sides of the vans pull up. Many officers in full riot gear & rifles drawn get out and do 2x moves into the house. As well, you all hear several (all) of the windows break and side doors rammed open and many footsteps from everywhere... It's 'almost' as if they were in a holding pattern out in a perimeter soon after the GMCs left..

    "Freeze! Everyone put your hands up and don't move!"
    "Oh my god... They raped and killed a little girl..."
    "She's dead sir..."
    "Sick pieces of..."
    "What the fuck's wrong with his face?!"
    (at ice hand & Spirit) "What the hell is that?"

    Mercury seems perfectly delighted to continue this downstairs in the basement (where the sewer exit is) out of sight from the troops... ('dead' Vamp still has nice falchion though, minor action to retrive with save DC10 if adjacent; 'little girl' corpse has nice ring, minor action to grab)

    Minor - attempt to grab ring off of Wendy.

    Minor - Speak with spirits on Blade. He gets a bonus to his next save (probably to grab falchion). You'll have to look up bonus because I just built a new gaming PC and I don't have my Character Builder data swapped over to this one yet.

    Move - Head towards stairs; spirit moves to 1 square S of Riot Cop in NE part of room.

    Edit: Actually, Speak with spirits adds to next skill check, I think. If that's the case, replace it with a basic longbow shot at Mercury.

    Aura grabs a nice ring and moves 2 W while moving the Spirit & casting a blessing on Blade

    Mercury teases Ashe's mind with images of him launching a Blazing Starfall in the middle of a pack of cops, but in good faith to Ember's plan, moves him 'run' 8 N.

    As Aura & Ashe move, a couple voices yell, "Freeze! We WILL fire, repeat: we WILL fire..." (Since both of you only do a single move, seeming to be complying, they seem only on very high alert.)

    '16' & '14' saves, Aura isn't slowed, Ashe isn't dominated. Angelus' turn...


    Didn't notice the edit: Aura 32 shoots Mercury with her bow. Cops yell, "Hostile, open fire, open fire!"... Angelus, Telgarth, Blade, Ember, baddies...

    I'm not sure how far the basement door is from my current position.

    If I can make it there in 21, then I'll
    Free Action: use Quicksilver action to move 6 NW toward the stairs
    Move: move 6 (down the stairs)
    Standard: move 6 (down the stairs and to the door)

    If I need move movement my move/standard actions can be runs.

    Minor: use Fallen Needle movement to move 3, if I'm still not at the door.

    If possible, save the Minor action to use to open the door.

    Note: not letting Mercury in just yet if I make it to the door first and have control of it...

    The stairs going down is on the map (N). Angelus is 11 squares away from the entrance. The basement has 2 bathrooms at the bottom of the stairs and is open & unfinished going S underneath the building. The locked grate to the sewer entrance is on the SE corner of the building (since you live there, you have a key). The stairs heading down into the basement is wide enough for 2. Not sure exactly how far you want to move. Please clarify...

    In an earlier post you mentioned that there was a door in the basement that led to the sewer system (an escape route).

    I was trying to move as far as I can to get to that door.

    If I detect some creature at some point in my movement then I'll change my action. Otherwise move full to the stairs, down the stairs, and to the escapre route.

    If there is no door there or if the escapre route is somewhere else, can you put it on the map?

    Minor pick up Broadsword

    Move and move to the downstairs exit - probably going to have to jump over the railing into the stairwell(How far down is the stairwell? Could Ember's BIG knock me over the railing without causing major damage? I am at 17 hits at the start of my round. If I don't leave now, I will have to fight to the coppers. ; ignoring Mercury and OA

    I am AC 27 & +2 saves

    Oh yeah, I realized I was still holding the broadsword, so as a free action I'll drop it after I move and before I attacked Mercury. Make a note of that location so Telgarth can pick it up on his way out.

    Yes, that's the locked grate that's on the SE corner of the building (right where the diagonal crook is). With your blurring movement you go really far towards, but not all the way to the sewer entrance. The basement is well lit at the bottom of the stairs & N where the bathrooms are, but dimmer the farther S you go towards the open basement & the locked grate. You moved 11 to the top of the stairs, 8 more down the stairs, then 2 more S towards the grate, 21 total, but 18 more S to sewer entrance. You are below all the cops, however...

    "Sto...! Oh my god!, did you just see how fast he moved?"

    (in contrast...)

    Telgarth picks up nice broadsword and 2x moves 4 W towards the stairs down. '7', '19' (+2 eash), Telgarth is no longer slowed but still weakened.

    "Stop!... Stop!... What is wrong with that guy? Why is he moving so slow... Have you guys been doing drugs?"

    Blade, Ember, baddies...

    I don't think he'll have time to stop and pick it up...

    You're a couple of squares to his east and the stairs are NW.

    If you drop the sword he'll have to move 1NE and end is move, use a minor to pickup, then move/run. Total movement is only about 4-6 squares. Where he could move to the stairs and down part way if he didn't have to stop.

    Just a thought...

    Aura moved 2 W on her last turn (adjacent to Telgarth), so if she dropped it right after her move action, it's okay.

    Since I'd know I couldn't make it in 21, I'll run using my move/standard to get 4 extra squares of movement.

    Blade moves, '10' barely wrestles the falchion from the 'dead' Vamp, then runs to just W of Telgarth. Cops are still yelling "Freeze! We will fire!" and the like. Ember's turn, then baddies...

    minor: sustain BIG. turn BIG in direction of the cops facing it SE.
    Maybe it will look threating and draw the cops attention.

    standard: run 8 NW towards stairs
    move: run to top of the stairs, taking cover but keeping LOS with BIG
