standard: Ghost Sound in space 6SW & 1S (laughter)

AP: Orbmaster's Incendiary Detonation in space 5SW & 1S adjacent to the 2 vamps

    Orbmaster's Incendiary Detonation
    Attack: Intelligence vs. Reflex
Hit: 1d6 + Intelligence modifier (+6) force damage, and you
    knock the target prone.
Effect: The burst creates a zone of licking flames that lasts
until the end of your next turn. Each enemy that enters the
zone or starts its turn there takes 2 fire damage.

    1d6+12 damage

(Ah... I posted that assuming Prestigitation this round. Forgot about Ghost Sound)

Ember moves NE 2 (to the N wall) and creates bursts of laughter as an explosive burst 17+6=23 hit, 14+6=20 hit, and two Vamps explode into dust as they are getting knocked off their feet... they feel very demoralized as the turn to dust as they're being laughed at.

Girl to Telgarth's E finally moves and attack Telgarth 1+11=12 miss. She's tripping pretty good...

The other dealer finally goes and tried to attack the traitor & flurry Ashe, but 4+11=15 miss.

Wow... I don't have many troops left. Sad

Angel next, then Telgarth '6' and then Ashe (2nd PC done)... (then more baddies)

Not a good round the the NPCs...

Darn it! I thought you'd take damage from going through the fire, but it says "enemies"...

Angel moves 2 SE and throws a tiny star at the dealer (male, actually) and 6+8=13 miss.

While we've been playing they Errated the drow racial powers. I can only use darkness or the Faerie fire now, so I ended up burning an unlock that I can no longer use. I picked darkness by the way.

Ashe moves SE & flanks the dealer with the the traitor and regains 8 hits and +2 defenses.

The new Vamp with the ruffled shirt moves and charges Ashe and misses.

The traitor Selena attacks the flanked dealer and 11+11=22 hit for 5 +7 flurry and the dealer is dead, but not dusted.

The sweaty, shirtless new Vamp moves then shift/attacks the traitor and 19+13=32 hit for 14 hits, killing but not dusting Selena, and delivering an automatic 8 flurry to Ashe.

Blades turn: grab attempt on 'dead' Vamp to his S 19 v Ref hit. The Vamp is grabbed. Grab & blood drain are both standard actions. AP? Blood drain next round?

Ember's turn next '5' no cantrip...

    casino II - Page 4 Ritual27

Since she's 'dead' and can't see the 'x' anymore, I changed the traitor's halo to blue. She's the middle 'dead' token between the dead girl Blade grabbed and the 'dead' dealer.

The flirting is over and the serving girl E of Telgarth 20+11=31 critical! for 5 necrotic & 7 flurry.

Is it still a standard action to grab a helpless creature? Its a minor action to pick up (grab) an unattended object.

Can you blood drain a "dead" undead? Can you heal a "dead" undead? In a normal game I'd say no, but am not sure in Buffy-verse...

    Angel's turn:

    Move: move 5E

Standard: use Twin Strike on the vampire to my SE (FoB on hit)

    Free action: use Action Point
AP: use Skattering of Leaves (+5 vs Ref)
On hit push him 1 S and shift 1 SW and make a secondary attack on the vampire to the south.
On hit push secondary target 1 E and primary target 1S

    Scattering of Leaves [Attack Technique]
You drive two enemies back with quick strikes, then use the momentum of your attacks to scatter other foes.

    Encounter Full Discipline, Implement, Psionic
    Standard Action Melee touch

    Primary Target: One creature

    Primary Attack: Dexterity vs. Reflex

Hit: 1d10 + Dexterity modifier damage, and you push the primary target 1 square. You then shift 1 square and make a secondary attack.

Secondary Target: One creature other than the primary target

    Secondary Attack: Dexterity vs. Fortitude

Hit: 1d10 + Dexterity modifier damage, and you slide the secondary target 1 square. You then push each enemy adjacent to the secondary target 1 square from the secondary target.

Can we tell the minion from the non-minions? Do their vampire faces look any different?

Twin Strike is +8 vs AC and 1d8 damage.

I was assuming that the two next to Ashe were not minions. If the one to his east is now dead I will not use an action point.

Typically an 8th level superhero looks just like a 1st level sped, but, if you're trained and do an insight check (or if you're Undead as a Buffy-verse freebee), you can tell Vamps with normal faces from living, and older, more powerful Vamps from freshly sired.

In this case, no one did an Insight check (but you found out anyway)

Telgarth uses an AP and attacks the girl to his E with Bond of Pursuit and 7+9=16 miss. I think she's still Oathed, so 2nd roll 20+9=29 critical back! Once the flirting stopped, it REALLY stopped!... Telgarth very easily lops her head clean off and she explodes into dust.

Oh, so all the vamps are like that.
So there is no way to Knock a vampire in this world unconscious then, right? or can we declare we are knocking it out, and drop it, and it has to wait until its turn to regenerate and get up again.

    Knocking Creatures Unconscious
When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points or fewer, you can choose to knock it unconscious rather than kill it. Until it regains hit points, the creature is unconscious but not dying. Any healing makes the creature conscious. If the creature doesn’t receive any healing, it is restored to 1 hit point and becomes conscious after a short rest.

Definately harder. 'Dead' Vamps can be coup de graced, so if for some reason you want to capture one, you'd have to 'kill' it without dusting it, then declare so on a CDG attack. Minions and some other Vamps don't regenerate, but most do however...

But to kill you have to use a vampire killing weapon right? Or can you kill using the CDG rules?

    Coup de Grace
Sometimes, you have the opportunity to attack a foe who is completely defenseless. It’s not chivalrous to do so, but it is viciously effective. This action is known as a coup de grace.

    COUP DE GRACE: STANDARD ACTION

Helpless Target: You can deliver a coup de grace against a helpless enemy adjacent to you. Use any
attack power you could normally use against the enemy, including a basic attack.
Hit: You score a critical hit.

Slaying the Target Outright: If you deal damage greater than or equal to the target’s bloodied value, the target dies.

Can you move through the squares of a "dead" vamp? Do they get an attack of opportunity?

Is the yellow outlined square Selena?

Have you updated my token to indicate that I have a +2 sunblade now?

Standard: Valorous Smite (Encounter power) on the full up guy to my SW.
    Move: Shift NW

No you can't. No they don't. No, she's outlined in blue, the yellow are the regular baddies. No the token isn't actually updated, but I haven't forgotten to add the +2 to your rolls...

Ashe attacks the last remaining boss and 11+11=22 barely hit for 20 hps, but you think you did more... He clearly winces from the blow, but is not quite bloodied.

A 'dead' Vamp shifts SE, the 'dead' traitor Vamp shifts SE, and the boss attacks Ashe with a claw that 7+13=20, barely misses and a flying kick also just misses Telgarth.

Top of the order, Blade '19' must use last at-will, then Ember '16' must unlock her last remaining cantrip.

Whoops! I forgot Blade grabbed the 'dead' Vamp last round... I moved her back adjacent to Blade on Maptools. She did not escape the grab.

Free: Use Shroud on the one I'm grabbing.
Standard: Use Blood Drain on the one I have grabbed, hopefully using a Surge and using Shroud damage.
Move: Use Shadow Step and appear 1 sq to my SW.

Blade throws up a shroud and 12+2+6=20 v Fort hits for 8+6 shroud= 14 hits. (she's still 'dead'.) Blade also uses a healing surge and isn't bloodied anymore. He then teleports away from the boss.

Ember moves and it begins raining as she unlocks her final cantrip (& suddenly thinks she figured out what she was missing in the rituals she's been practicing).

The 'dead' dealer to Angel's W shifts N, the 'dead' dealer to Ashe's E shifts E.

Angel's turn, then Telgarth '8', then Ashe...

(I think Telgarth has 1 unlock left and everyone else is finished now?)

Angel moves and gives he & Telgarth flanking and 6+5+2=13 v Ref, miss. 13=full, Angel still hits him for 6 hps. (you think full damage might have bloodied him, but as is he is not bloodied.)

    Telgarth's turn.

I only do damage on a hit. Not sure what you mean by 13=full...
