    (Since Candelos is probably going to help Sonya, I don't think it'll affect me.)

    move action: move E 5 + NE 1 (inbetween Thia & the baddie)

    standard action: MBA on baddie I can't see (w/sword)

    Standard: make a claw attack
    Claw 26+2 vs Ac hits for 6+5hp of necrotic damage. It barely hit, let me know if you want to use an interrupt.

    Move: move north (no AoO since it has total concealment). It tries to hide, but Thia easily points it out.

    V2 (to the north)
    Move: move south (the only one that knows where it is Thia. It moved north of the first one (SE edge of the NE statue).

    No other actions are detected.

    Standard: Target two minions with twin strike, I do realize I will be at a -7.
    Move: If the light source spills out the doorway then I will move east 4 spaces right near the intersection. Otherwise I need to wait for the light source.

    If we do stay, we need to get some light where that other undead is that keeps bringing the minions back so we can attack it.

    I assumed each PC has an Adventurer's Kit, though looking through the Character Builder every PC has one except Sonya.


    I guess she took Quinn's before he decided to remain with the other humans...

    I assumed you were going to interrupt so I didn't subtract the HP. Miri is currently at 24/58hp with 8/9 surges.

    It's the same turn so you can't use another interrupt.

    Coup De Grace (auto hit) for 15+16hp of damage.

    The vampire is decapitated.


    Note:
    Candelos doesn't think that will stop the vampires from rising. With a passive Religion check he's pretty sure who ever is animating them will continue.

    If Candelos or someone else wants to make an active Religion check they may find out more info...

    You can't make an active check until your next turn.

    Your passive check was 10+11=21 (Candelos is +11 in Religion) which told you that the power that was used to bring the vampire back would probably bring them back even if they didn't have a head.

    If it's only a minor, I suggest everyone try a religion check. If we can get rid of the minions permanently, I think this last guy alone won't be so hard...

    Would the headless Vampire be -5 for blind?

    Mark any enemy I can target, that is the furthest away I can reach.
    Shift East and if I still have it use 2nd Wind. If not, then shift 1 more East.

    Well people are moving towards me but we haven't fully committed yet. I believe if I move south 1 I might have shot at the vampires with cover and concealment.

    Standard: twin strike any Vamps I have a shot on; if it is only one shoot him twice.

    Move: ??? (Thia is in a corridor that goes north and east, you are on the southern wall and can't shift south. You can shift east into the darkness, shift north but the vampire will have cover and concealment, or shift west)

    Currently assuming no shift since there are no enemies in sight, but you can shift if you like for the AC

    The slain (decapitated) vampire is resotored (head intact) and stands.

    Move: use Flame on Miri
    Flame 21+2 vs Fort hits for 9+5hp of Fire and Necrotic damage. If you have another interrupt that work for Fort let me know...

    Standard: use Fear on Miri
    Fear 27+2 vs Will hits for 6hp of cold damage. Miri is pushed 5 squares SW.

    Hum, if Miri is pushed SW, it make sense the statue is doing the pushing.

    move: 1SW, 2W, 1SW take a AoO from the Vamp
    standard: attack with Holy Strike
    minor: religion check

    Looks like Mri got pushed into the SW quadrent. Might expect that to start another group on monsters.

    Not following you...

    You know the unseen NPC to the north is the one that pushed Miri. The statues seem to be generating the field of darkness. Miri has already tried attacking the statues to no affect.

    You can revise your turn...


    With the new stealth rules the PCs know where all of the monsters are unless the monsters are hidden and beat everyones passive perception.

    You know there is
    1 unknown monster (you haven't seen him, but know his position)
    3-4 vampires (that the party has killed several times...)

    There were 3 guardians but they have been killed.

    No other monsters have been detected in this room.

    Yes, Miri will use 'Staff of Defense' encounter power. Works against 1 defense (doesn't specify which).

    Candelos' turn:

    It's a minor action to take out a sunrod, but you'd have to drop your sword to do it since you can't use your shield arm with a heavy shield attached.

    Or you can spend a standard action to stow the shield (or a move&free to unequp and drop).


    You have a Minor, Move, and Standard action to work with.

    Draw/sheathe a weapon is a Minor
    Draw a sunrod is a Minor
    Unequip/drop the shield is a Move
    Stow the shield is a Standard

    I don't think you can move, attack, and draw the sunrod.

    I used an AP this encounter when I shot the guardian. It was when Sonya shielded me and took the extra damage.

    Fine he'll just attack with Holy strike.

    I'll let some else light the area up.
    His job is to attack things, take himself out of the battle for 2-3 rounds to light a sunrod.
