    Move - SE, SW (I should be next to the weakened monster and didn't provoke as I moved through Thia's square)
    Standard - Brash Assault, I'll give Candelos the attack
    Minor - If I get hit, I'll heal myself w IW (last one guys!) If I don't get hit, I better heal Candelos.

    Let me know which square you want Sonya in. Either NE of G3 or possibly SE flanking with Kaddim. I don't think it'll change the outcome of this round.


    Sonya's turn:
    Move: move to attack G3

    Standard: use Brash Assult on G3
    BA 20 vs Ac miss

    G3 gets a MBA on Sonya and uses Twin Scimitar Strike (a MBA)

    Made an oversight...

    Each of the statues give off an aura that enhances undead. The Death Knight statue allows undead to critical on a 19-20.

    The hit on Kaddim was actually a critical that did 1d8+12hp of damage instead of the 1d8+4 rolled. I'm not sure why this monster does 1d8+12 instead of max damage on a critical, but it's listed the same way in the monster manual.

    After rolling the critical damage, Kaddim took 5+12=17hp instead of 11.

    NPC's turn:
    A creature to the south moves north west into the area of the lich statue.

    It then uses Flame on Candelos
    Flame 32+2 vs Fort hits for 14hp of Fire&Necrotic damage. (it seems to be doing more damage then it previously did...)

    The same creature then uses Fear on Candelos
    Fear 18+2 vs Will hits for 6hp of cold damage. Candelos is pushed south 5 squares (SE costs two, then S, S, SE).


    Guardian #1 turn: (marked by Candelos)
    Move: move south until he's south of Candelos. He has 8 movement and will provoke an AoO from Kaddim, but not Candelos.

    Kaddim AoO 26 vs Ac hits for 18hp of damage. (ouch)

    Standard: Cascade of Steel on Candelos
    CoS 22+2 vs Ac miss
    CoS 27+2 vs Ac hits for 8hp of damage
    CoS 26+2 vs Ac hits for 12hp of damage (Candelos falls)
    4th swing not taken...



    Candelos' turn:
    At the end of Candelos' turn he rolls a 14 for his death save.

    G2's turn:
    Move: move south, then the party looses track of his position. Thia believes he went to the SE section.

    To be consistant with the NE section the PCs are in the SE will include the pillars.

    From where Miri is, the light from the spell does not leave the SE section so she can't see Candelos from her current position.

    Going to assume Miri wants to move south since "assuming no baddies in the way" indicates she wants to move.

    Miri moves 1SE + 1S then detects a hidden creature to the south. Miri is currently in the dark and can't see anything (she can't see the PCs to the north or Candelos to the south).

    Through Arcana Miri knows:
    The pillars block light going into or out of the areas they protect.

    The light you casted earlier is probably functioning normally, but since you're outside the area you can't see it.

    You can recast if you like, but I think Miri would know that it probably worked the first time.


    If you casted ligit in the corridor (area not protected by the pillars) where you are then you still wouldn't be able to see into a "dark" area, though you would be able to see into the NE where the other PCs are since it has light.

    Since it is a minor to pick up something, would it be a minor action to grasp Candelos? (e.g. Move action, move to Candelos, minor action grasp Candelos, standard action, use as a move action to drag Candelos north).

    Let me know if this is possible.

    Okay,
    Move Action: 1S, 1SW (2 pt for difficult), 1S (in Miri's square), 1 SE.
    Free Action: Drop torch in the square I'm in
    Minor Action: Grasp Candelos
    Standard: Use as a move action and hope that Candelos weighs less than 180 lbs

    Darn, no matter what square I move to, I'll provoke an AoO. Might as well go S so I can grab Candelos.

    Standard - MBA on the monster.
    Use 1H1M to tell all other PCs where the monsters are.
    Minor - If I down the monster, drop torch as a free action and grab Candelos.
    Use 1H1M to let the others know that the monster is down.

    No minor if I didn't down the monster.

    Chris, I think the last square you meant to move was S, not SW.
    Also, I don't think Thia can see any of the bad guys, but there would be two are two squares away. If you can, maybe one shot on the minion and if you down it, can you take your second shot on the bloodied one?

    Question - If I had Resist 10 to all damage and CoS hits me four times say for 8, 9, 12, and 14, do I take 6 damage or do I take 33 (e.g. 43-10)? I think I take only 6, right? Still Miri's turn...

    1H1M - Miri, it's okay if you take some damage, I'm going to have to heal all of us. (well except Thia who has no surges left and I can't heal myself, but someone else can use a heal check DC10 and allow me to use my second wind on thier turn. Miri, I'm gonna take a mighty swing, flank for me if you can, aid me, or if you have any healing skill, heal me please.) Oh, I'm gonna swing on the one to the W.

    Before my turn, if Miri got hit by one or more AoO, she should lose temp hits and then real hits which she should get 9 back from using her action point.

    Free Action: "IIIIII- Yaaaaaaaaaa!!!!"
    Standard Action: Stand the Fallen on the monster to the W (should get flanking from Miri, right?) Everyone gets a healing surge (except me and Thia) and an additional + 5 hits. Candelos should be back in the fight.
    Free Action: 1H1M - "Candelos I need a heal!"
    Move Action: If by good luck I actually downed the monster, I'll shift into his space so I can protect Miri and Thia and Candelos w my Guardian Shield if I have to. If I didn't down the monster I'll stay where I am.

    Minor - none
    Guys, if you still have your action points, use them to get 9 hits back while I'm still standing.
    Guys, if I fall, it's a DC 10 heal check to allow the fallen PC to use 2nd wind.
    Thia, I didn't use my shield to protect you last turn as that would have brought me down to 7 hits; I need a few more hit points. If you take like 10 from an AoO, I think I will use the shield to gain resist 5 to all for a turn.

    If you're resistant 10 to all damage then yes you'd only take 6hp. Each attack is separate and would be reduced.
