    Basement:

    15' into the 8 sq deep by 6 sq wide room directly in front of the stairs, you see a female Eladrin dancing on a chair. Another 15' farther, you see another f. Eladrin dancing on a table. 15' to your NW is a couch with the hide-a-way bed pulled out and on it there is a male Eladrin, a female Eladrin, and what looks like 2 f. Dragonborn corpses (and blood everywhere on the bed & the 4 bodies on it). The dancers are also blood drenched. No one except the PCs have any clothes on (or wielding anything), and the 2 Eladrins on the bed are... enjoying each others' company. (This is where the latest screams you hear are coming from)

    I'm at my work computer and about to run to the bank, so I'll roll initiatives sometime around lunch. Hopefully I'll have the cool map ready by then too. Otherwise, I'll hand draw it again with the same specs then switch it for the nice one.

    btw, Blade & Angel can see that they are all in the same extremely happy state that the PCs and many of the casino staff were in...

    Also, when Ashe gets into the room, he'll recognize the two Dragonborns as his mother and neighbor upstairs' wife.

    Blade might have gotten an ambush round (16+11=27 stealth), but Angel right behind him (4+10=14) gave the party away...

    close dancer goes first, and you think wants to do more, but all she does this round is say, "Private par... Hey! How come you guys aren't dead?"

    the Male Eladrin says, "Sorry love, a diffent kind of fun is afoot just now." He puts on sweat pants and says, "Well, c'mon then!" and waits...

    Angel '18' special, Telgarth '2' special, then Ember '16' special are next. Angel and Ember must use new power.

    Post Script: no one is wearing a 'Vampire' face and all look like Eladrins...

    Yeah, you do suspect that they might be evil, given the circumstances...

    Angel moves in and the male's ready action kicks in and good thing for Angel he's prone still... 6+13-2=17 miss by 2. Angel must sense that these guys are tougher than anything you've faced so far and the nerves got to him... 6+5+2=13, 5+5+2=12, 3+5=8, all misses.

    Telgarth next then Ember...

    You can move through allies spaces...

    We really need to get everyone in quickly before they block the doorway like last encounter.

    After a brief moment of indecision, Telgarth rushes in and attacks the closest baddie and the Slayers are off to a dismal start... 1+9=10 miss, 7+9=16 miss. Telgarth & Angel might have been too distracted by the naked hotties, because so far the party is 0/5 on their attacks. Crying or Very sad

    The gaurd got off only 1 shot, so 9 left.

    Ember's turn, then me, then Ashe '8' no unlocks, then Blade '10' must use new power.

    Telgarth didn't specify, so I moved him straight forward to the nearest baddie as specified.

    Female in bed seems to think you all are hallucinations this round ('7' save). Saying to her mate "Come back to bed lover and finish what you started!"

    All the Eladrins are in fantastic spirits though seem very distracted...

    Can I move along the wall to the south and avoid provoking an AoO from the one West of Telgarth?
    If so, I will
    Move W, S, S, W, W, NW

    Yeah, the grid lines are wrong. Since the N is where the couch/bed is, I'm going to say the 1/2 space to the N isn't there and the wall to the S we'll pretend is a 1/2 space farther S.

    Ashe then swings his ancestors' sword and he is still getting used to the faster swing... 2+11=13 miss.

    Good thing Blade was flanking. Blade moves into position and 9+8+2=19 hit for 10hps. The party then sees Blade transform into what looks like Humanoid black smoke...

    The dancer '16' then teleports 3W +1NW, then charges Blade with a shortsword yelling "This is a private party!" 17+10+1=28 hit for 7 hps.

    The male '18' then stands & says, "Time to see what a centurian Undead can do!" 10+13=23 hit for 15 necrotic damage.

    Angel's next '9' (do you have unlocks left?), then Telgarth '9', then Ember '20' (must use new power)...

    Ouch, almost bloodied from one hit.

    Nothing left to unlock for Angel.

    This is the 3rd encounter so I think I should another action point.

    Standard: use Five Storm. Hitting the two I'm adjacent to. Flurry on the one I hit. If I hit both, then flurry on the one that hit me.

    If I have an Action Point...
    AP:Twin Strike on the one that hit me. Flurry if I missed both last time and hit at least once this time.

    Charge oath target and attack

    Censure of Pursuit
    If your oath of enmity target moves away from you willingly, you gain a bonus to damage rolls against the target equal to 2 + your Dexterity modifier until the end of your next turn. The bonus increases to 4 + your Dexterity modifier at 11th level and 6 + your Dexterity modifier at 21st level.

    And aaaaaaaauuuuuuuggggghhhhh can I get a couple of more powers!!?!?!

    In next rest, take a double dose of No doze from Ashe if he shares.

    Telgarth lets out a primal growl and charges the nude dancer and 13+9+1=24 hit for 7+7 and the dancer falls. (lethal or subdual?) (You needed the censure to drop her.)

    I assume jeff charged straight W which messes up my spell location on the blooded one.
    I'll unlock AP.
    Since Angel has moved S she'll hit the two to the N.
    Standard: incendiary detenetion center on the NW vamp.
    AP: scorching burst in the same spot

    Ember only has 2nd wind to unlock now, and casts Incindiary Detonation and 12+6=18, 12+6=18 misses their reflex, then casts Scorching Burst and 15+6=21 hits the female for almost a ghetto crit 17 hps, and 3+9=12 miss the male. She wails out a blood curling scream when she gets hit. You don't think she likes fire very much.

    The female's turn and the PCs see some of her wounds start to heal, but '3' otherwise seems to be lost in hallucinations...

    Ashe is next and '13' must use new power, then Blade '18' & must also use new power. Then possibly more baddies...

    Hmm, wasn't the one Telgarth charged in darkness? Should he have gone after the ones to the north instead? This would have changed Ember's turn as well...

    Blade casted Darkness in post #167.

    Telgarth charged in post #174. I believe he charged the wounded one in the darkness with Blade.

    The eladrin that attacked Blade should have had a -5 penalty, but still would have hit since he rolled a 28. Sad

    No, in 167 I used Shade Form, not Cloud of Darkness. I didn't use that until 176.

    I think the confusion came because the gridlines on the map have a 1/2 space to on the N & S edges of the room...

    We're pretending the 1/2 space to the N isn't an occupyable space, but the 1/2 space along the S wall is (so your token will look like it's 1/2 way on the S wall). We need to pretend the S wall is 1/2 a grid space farther south.

    Blade used 'Shadeform' to turn to smoke last round and is incorporeal until after Ashe's turn.

    You can adjust the grid lines, in MapTools menu, Map->Adjust Grid

    If the map already has grid lines its a little tougher but you should be able to get it close.

    Ashe will unlock his mark. I believe that means I still have both my at wills, 2nd wind, and an AP to unlock.

    Minor: Mark the furthest west vamp.
    Standard: Charge the vamp straight north of me

    Ashe divine challenges the female then charges the male. 19+11=30! Easy hit for 12 damage... as you hit, and the sword tastes Vampire flesh for the first time in centuries, it beams brightly, and the Vamp catches fire where you struck him (you think doing extra damage) As he gets hit he screams, "Aahh! He has the power of the sun! The High Council must know about this!"

    For the first time since you came to the basement, both Vamps look worried (in between fits of estacy).

    Note: As everyone probably guessed, it's a +2 sunblade and it's property & at-will radiant activate on first Undead blood, so you can use those as you wish, but it's daily power you need to get an unlock to trigger for the first time.

    Note: For somewhere in the casino (once you get out of this dream sequence), I need everyone to update their wishlists to include a 7th or 8th level item. Very Happy

    Blade move NE +N and a darkness envelops Blade, Ashe, Telgarth, and both Vamps. 6+8+2=16 miss.

    Dancer's turn '1' and no one sees her come out from behind the wall still.

    Male goes '20' and moves W 3, then S 3, provokin AoO from Blade only (total concealment from Ashe & Telgarth). 19+8+2=29 hit for 8 hps. He is bloodied and not regenerating (this round). He then does a wierd looking Vampiric shift/attack (like in "Interview with a Vampire") and hits Angel 13+13=26 hit for 11hps. Angel is very wounded and bloodied.

    Angel is next, then Telgarth '15' (unlock), then Ember '10' (no unlocks), then possibly baddies...

    Note: the black square around Blade is darkness that no one can see through (except Blade)

    Abjure Undead
    You send a brilliant ray of radiant power at an undead foe, compelling it to stagger toward you.

    Channel Divinity: You can use only one channel divinity power per encounter

    Target: One undead creature in burst

    Attack: Wisdom vs. Will

    Hit: 3d10 + Wisdom modifier radiant damage, and you pull the target a number of squares equal to 1 + your Wisdom modifier. The target is also immobilized until the end of your next turn.
    Level 5: 4d10 + Wisdom modifier damage.

    Telgarth moves to the corner of the room in view of the other naked dancer and summons a powerful and brilliant power that blasts out from him 25' in all directions 7+6=13 miss, but even so 27/2=13 hits, and it looked like the Vamp took more. "AAaaghhh!! Where do you get this sun magic?"

    The dancer also takes 13 hps and shrieks loudly.

    Ember's turn and she launches a magic missile that strikes unerringly true and knocks him dead falling backward onto the floor from the shimmering projectile.     Did you include Flurry damage too? Angel will always flurry since it's a free action (and a class feature...).

    Only Blade sees the beautiful nude Vampiress '17' stand, spinning and tossing up her short silken robe and even though you know she can't see it, she spins her arms into the gossamer garment as it floats upon the air and cinches the belt tight. I.e. minor grab robe, move stand, standard donn robe. Only Blade sees the immense smile in the dark and childlike glee upon hearing her lover's words and her wounds quickly heal...

    Ashe '2' no unlocks, then Blade '17' must use unlock next... then possibly baddies...
