    I'm going to say that the action that was readied before the interrupt would happen before the interrupt.

    I'll need to rewind the mangler's actions... good use of an interrupt, no CO for me... Pyramid - Level 2 - Page 5 Icon_cry

    Mangler #1 moves adjacnt to Thia.
    Thia uses an interrupt to shift south of Sonya.

    Mangler #1 throws two daggers at Thia
    Dagger #1 28 vs Ac hits for 4hp of damage
    Dagger #2 18 vs Ac miss

    Mangler #2 shifts and attacks as before, this time with no combat advantage. Instead of doing 37hp of damage he does 14hp of damage.

    Mangler #3 actions didn't change. He threw two daggers, one hit, one miss.

    Thia currently has 42/65 hp

    Oh, Miri is too far away from the wall of fire. When she moved more than 10 squares away, I went away.

    Miri is currently 12 squares away from the wall.

    Sonya's turn...

    Move Action: Move 2 directly south (through Thia's square) - let the Manger get an AoO on me. I stay against the wall with Thia at my back (e.g. North).

    Standard Action: Lion's Roar vs. Mangler (I have my axe again from last round)...+13 vs. AC (should hit for sure since it's not a daily power!) for 2d12+6.

    Effect: If I hit or miss, Thia gets to use a Healing surge and she adds and additional 5 hits bringing her back close to max hits. I think all three of us are now out of temporary hits. P.S. what's Thia's melee basic attack and can she fire her bow w/o drawing an AoO as a basic attack? I was going to use a power where we both get to attack, but thought Thia's melee attack would be weak so I elected to heal Thia and do x2 damage myself.

    Minor Action: out of heals that use minor actions...

    Sonya's turn:
    Move: move 2S provoking an AoO

    AoO on Sonya 30 vs Ac hits for 4hp of damage.

    Standard: use Lion's Roar on the mangler
    LR 28 vs Ac hits for 20hp of damage. Thia gets to use a healing surge.

    Thia is now at 63/65hp with 5/7 surges

    Thia doesn't have a melee wepon out and uses a two handed ranged weapon.

    I'm not sure if she can make a MBA unarmed since she is considered to have both hands on the bow. I guess she could hit someone with the bow...

    Thia MBA with her shortsword would be +7 (4 1/2 level + 3 prof)

    pretty sure you can always make an unarmed attack in 4.0 - I guess all the PC's know some martial arts e.g. front kick, side kick and turning roundhouse.

    SB on #2 18 vs Ref miss
    SB on #3 24 vs Ref hits for 11hp of damage (he's still up)

    Miri talks to the manglers, but they seem almost fanatical.

    They do seem to be communicating with each other, but nothing audible.

    Mangler's turn:

    Mangler #3 moves south, then through the doors the beserkers came through.
    Manger #2 shifts 1SE away from Sonya, then moves south through the doors following his ally.
    Mangler #1 moves south through the doors, then closes the doors. The party hears "click" as the doors are locked.

    The manglers seemed to be moving very fast. Faster than Thia moves (and her speed is 7) ...

    I'll check to see if the berserker next to me is dead (I was striking to kill) and if he is, I'll toss him into the nearest mask. If he's too big, I'll chop off a piece that's a size I can toss into a mask; handy having a big axe. Before I toss any part of him in, I'll search him for treasure and other intellegence (maps, orders, whatever) first. If it's combat movement still, I'll:

    Move Action: Pick up the Acidic Bastard Sword.
    Standard Action: Check the Berserker for treasure (and if he's still alive).
    Minor Action: Say, "You two okay?"

    The berserker is dead. The one you're checking has a greatsword, but nothing else of note. The sword looks pretty beat up and old.

    It'll take a couple of rounds to hack off pieces of him to feed to the mask. Is that what you want to do?

    Thia will guard the doors and the masks since the guys jumped out of there. Are the masks saying anything else?

    Once Sonya feeds one does it say something else?

    After the first mask is fed, it becomes quiet and does not try to bite when a PC gets near it. The other masks in the hallway continue to beg for food.

    Both berserkers and the caster are dead. None have items of interest or "intelligence" of any kind.

    Feeding the other mouths quiets them as well.

    They don't speak after being fed, but Miri does notice a portal of some type inside the mouths.

    You noticed earlier in the battle that the masks are able to bite any creature adjacent to the mask. You won't be able to pry a mask off with out being bitten (multiple times...).

    (remember the manglers entered the battle from the masks mouths?)

    Miri believes that they are teleportation portals, but doesn't know the destinations...

    The masks also seem much deeper than their profile on the walls would suggest.

    Current PC status:
    Miri: 46/58hp 5/9 surges
    Sonya 50/66hp 8/9 surges
    Thia 63/65hp 5/7 surges

    One word of caution...
    If the PCs take a short rest, the monsters also get to take a short rest (to heal and recharge any specials...)

    I'm good with a short rest to get my encounters back & will use 1 surge. I also suggest going into a single mask.

    Sonya vanishes and Thia enters the mask. Thia remains in the mouth of the mask and does not vanish.

    Thia waits a few seconds/rounds and tries again... Thia remains in the mouth.

    Thia tries feeding the mouth. The bits of the mangler you toss in land inside the mouth, but the mask/mouth does not chew them up like they did when Sonya fed them.

    So far 3 rounds have elapsed.

    What will Thia and Miri do next?

    I suggest we try seperate mouths at the same time right away. If that doesn't work, I think the Mangers that ran away from us turned them off somehow, and Sonya got in right before they pulled the plug on them.

    If we don't teleport anywhere, I say we track down the Manglers that ran away.

    There are seven masks in the hallway you're in 3 on the west wall, 2 on the south wall, and 2 on the east wall.

    After quite a bit of room shuffling/teleporting...

    Sonya enters the room with the manglers just as Thia is leaving the room (after getting hit by a couple of daggers...).

    Sonya engages the manglers MBA 19 vs Ac miss.

    Then shouts out to see if her party members are near.

    Thia shouts back that she's on her way.

    The current initiative order is Mangers, Thia, then Sonya. No sign of Miri yet...

    Mangler #2 moves around a corner to the east and moves into position to flank Sonya.
    The NW mask in the room bites the mangler.
    Sonya gets an AoO on the mangler 25 vs Ac hits for 11hp of damage.

    Manger #2 uses Dagger Dance on Sonya
    Dagger #1 27+2 vs Ac hits for 8hp of damage
    Dagger #2 28+2 vs Ac hits for 10hp of damage
    Dagger #3 22+2 vs Ac miss
    Dagger #4 16+2 vs Ac miss

    Manger #1 uses Dagger Dance on Sonya

    I actually thought the manglers had moved through the south door not the SE door so I was a bit confused.

    Free: Sonya move into one of the mouths and feed them if you can so it doesn't bite you.
    Minor HQ the closest one.
    Move back to the wall next to one of the mouths.
