    Oh, forgot to roll Miri's attack.
    Miri fired off a Magic Missile
    20 vs Ref hit for 9 points of damage.

    That means Thai downed the large lizardman on her attack...

    The other "large" lizardman swings at Kaddim 28 vs AC hit for 12hp. Kaddim is also pushed one square.

    Kaddim has 18/71 hp remaining.

    The logs from the ettin battle shows that Quinn used that power already. Since the party didn't get a chance to take a short rest in between battles your encounter powers didn't get a chance to recharge and are not available.

    ...since I'm dazed, I can only take one action. I think there's some sort of trap at the bottom of the stair in front of Candelos. I still can't see Quinn to give him a free basic attack or heal him. I don't see any lizardmen in front of me and even if I did, I'd probably still move toward them.

    I know it's not my turn, but only Candelos is ahead of me in the initiative order. To keep the game moving along, I'll state my turn now. Unless one or more lizardmen surface in the water within 20' to the north of my current position, I'll attempt to jump over the square in front of me (cost one square and have to make a check of at least 10) and then (still as part of my move action) move two more squres (cost 4 due to difficult terrain) to the NE for a total of my 5 squares of movement.

    Done.

    Move action: Move 1 square north and 2 squares east.
    Standard action: use second wind to use a healing surge (since he's at 26/65 hp)

    Sonya will have to make an acrobatics check to avoid falling (dc 18 ) because of the slippery floor.

    Since its not a running jump the check is divided by 10 to determine the number of squares. So you need a modified 20 to jump 2 squares.

    ...yep, okay, I'll attempt to make the acrobactic's check.
    ...yep, okay, the jump check is divided by 10 so I'll need a modified 20 or better to jump over the square I think has the trap in it.
    Which also means that the jump, if I make it, will use up 2 of my 5 movement, so I can only move one square of difficult terrain to the NE.

    Sorry, it's an acrobatics check and Sonya is +1 so you'd need a 17. Did you still want to try it?

    Oh, and Sonya is -2 because of armor check penalty...

    Stu, I sent you an email as I wasn't clear what you ment by run NE.

    If you fail the acrobatics check, you can stay in your inital square or I'll impose a penalty to the atletics jump check.

    ...move as indicated above to the NE, since starting in a slippery square causes an acrobatics, not an athletic's check, I'll just move (not run) two squares to the NE, ignoring the fact that there might be a trap there.

    On vacation getting the truck serviced (tune up), and watching the kid (Spring Break) so I'm not reading my work e-mail.

    Hmm seems a lot of lizardmen have disappeared. I expected as much from the cowards. They are not match for my greatsword.

    Yes, she wanted to move 1 square south of where she was after she attacked. (She didn't think Thia could see the big Lizardman where she was & wanted to get out of her way in case Sonya could undaze her.)

    Hunter's Quarry is a minor action and if she's dazed, she would only have been able to Twin Stike. Hopefully those 5 points didn't make a difference, but wanted to point that out...

    One lizardman shifts, attacks Kaddim (misses), then shifts again.
    One lizardman emerges from the water 10' away from Sonya and attacks twice and misses.
    Candelos, Sonya, and Thia are no longer dazed.

    Is the whole area slippery because I am not on the stairs anymore. If its not slippery aka requireing a acro check I will shift if possible to get flanking. No matter what I will attack with reaping strike.

    The lizardman shifted and is at the bottom of the stairs. You'll have to move off of the platorm (acrobatics check).

    No, the daze wore off (page 9, post 12).

    Thia shifts in front of Miri and shoots the lizardman using twin strike (I'm assuming HQ as well...).
    Attack 1: 23 vs AC hit for 11
    Attack 2: 26 vs AC hit for 16
    HQ: 3
    Total damage 30hp

    Miri will move 1 square diagonally NE into Candelos' square, then 1 square N into the water, then 1 square E towards the Lizardman just inside the difficult terrain. That's 3 squares of movement, but since it's difficult terrain, that's all 6 movement squares she has.
    Miri will then cast "Ray of Frost" on the closest Lizardman 2 squares E of her. (I assume that's the only one she can see...)
    Miri will say as a free action to Kaddim, "The gang's all here... which ones shouild we concentrate our attacks on?"

    ...if Thia was still dazed, Thia would not be able to shift (a move action) and then shoot (a standard action). As it is, Thia is not dazed any longer.

    In Chris' post, he said shift to the square in front of Sonya. In Ken's reply, he has Thia shifting to the square in front of Miri (which is the only square Thia can shift to since Thia is too far away to shift one square next to Sonya).

    Since the "small" Lizardman that's nearest to Quinn and Kaddim is on that stairway, what square to we have to be in to even see it?

    Miri moves north of Candelos and is hit by the trap 21 vs Fort.
    Miri takes 5 points of damage, is transported to another section (see map), and is dazed (save ends).
    Miri has 2 squares of movement left but is unable to take her standard action.

    Sonya, you can see Quinn and Kaddim and both lizardmen their fighting. There's no wall on the water side of the stairs that the lizardman is on.

    I'm leaving the server up and running so you guys can login and take your turns if you like. The initiative window shows who currently has initiative.

    The large lizardman takes his turn and shift 1 square north, he then look like he's waiting for something...

    If there's no wall, what's keeping the water from flooding the stairs going down?
    I'm guessing 10' of staiirs is no more than a 10' drop, so if a check is necessary, she'll still jump onto the stairs. If she can't get onto the stairs this round, Miri will stay where she is.

    The stairs go up, the platform is above the water.

    Miri moves onto the stairs. The lizardman next to her thought about taking an AoO, but he's been marked by Kaddim who he knows would reduce the damage and he'd take fire damage.

    Candelos moves 1 square north. If he is not hit by the trap and moved he will move 1 square to the right. That should be 4 for moving thru difficult terrain. that 1 more square to the right for a total of 5 movement. He should be next to the small lizard man. He will then use his reckless sword power as a minor and Valiant strike +1 to attack roll.

    If trap weeps me away I will likely do something differnt.

    Candelos moves one square north, the trap triggers 16 vs Fort miss. The water is 4' deep and also considered difficult terrain. Candelos moves 1 square east, then runs out of movement.
    You could charge east after you went north for a basic attack, othewise you won't be able to get to the lizardman.

    ...I think I'm after Candelos (Mickey).
    Since the trap missed Candelos, he is either close to, or next to, the small lizardman nearest me that I can see. Assuming that the small lizardmen does not go after Candelos and before me, here is my action.

    Move Action: Move 1 square NE and then 1 square East (cost 4 squares due to difficult terrain).

    Assuming I didn't hit a trap or reveal any additional opponents,

    Standard Action: Use Commander Strike and give a free Basic Attack to Miri. If for some reason Miri cannot use the free basic attack, give the free basic attack to Candelos (if he elected to charge the lizardman nearest me). If no ally is close enough to benefit from Commander Strike, then I'll do a double move instead, moving three additional squares; 1 to the East, 1 to the SE, and then 1 SW, putting me directly East of the small lizardman and in position to give Candelos a flanking bonus.

    Minor Action: Use last Inspiring Word for this encounter on Quinn, don't forget, he gets to use a surge and receives 1d6 bonus healing points.
