    Resuming from Session #2

    After Kaddim's turn:
    1. One lizardman moved and took two swings at Kaddim, both missed.
    2. One lizardman moved and took two swings at Quinn, one hit for 11hp (he rolled a 20...)
    3.It is now Quinn's turn. He starts his turn in a trap area and is subjected to another attack. This time it hits 24 vs Fort and he takes 5hp and is transported to another trap area. Quinn ended up in the same location as Kaddim

    Quinn is now dazed and can only take a single action. You can move out of the trap area (you'll provoke an AoO from the lizard man as you're in difficult terrain and can't shift). You can attack the lizardman. Or you can take some other action.

    Observations by Quinn and Kaddim, the water and trap area were difficult to move though, but the lizardmen seem to be moving at normal speed.

    Thia moves 7 to the south, 5 feet away from the edge of the pit so she can see down the east, north and south hallways and waits for incoming enemies. She will ready an action to twin strike the first enemy.

    Attack, Attack and never fall back. I have no clue what powers I have left besides my daily. Use one of my encounter powers if you know I still have it. I believe there is a 2W encounter I haven't used.

    The only encounter power you had left was the 7th level Sudden Surge.
    Quinn uses Sudden Surge and hits with a 34 and does 25 points of damage. You think you took about 1/4 of its hits away. Good swing. Oh, just a reminder... Quinn is wielding a Scalebane Greatsword. It has a daily power vs reptiles and does more damage on a critical vs reptiles (ie lizardmen...)

    I've moved Thia, she doesn't see any signs of an enemy (other than the battle going on in the other room...).

    The large sized lizardmen were next.
    One of them moved, then charged Quinn. Even with combat advantage (Quinn dazed) it missed.

    The chars in the pit room can't see the trap room with the lizardmen correct?

    No, the stair go down so you need to be at least halfway down the stairs to see into the room where Quinn and Kaddim are in.

    No, there is no saving throw. It's part of the attack. If you get hit, you take some damage, get transported, and are dazed. If you get missed (like Quinn the turn before), there are no adverse effects.

    Quinn wouldn't know how long he'd be dazed for, but the attack message from the macro does state until the start of your next turn.

    Yes, with the ready action of either a magic missle or ray of frost, depending on if a Lizardman or the Ettin goes down that hallway she's watching.

    Candelos will do a run and a run. (5+2) + (5+2) = 14 squares thru the east hallway past the Bs and then north at the T.

    You can't quite make it into the intersection. With the first run you could only go 6 because of the wall, then you can move 7 and be 3 squares ahead of Sonya.

    ...okay, it appears I have not moved from the T intersection where the Ettin ran by.

    If I am still at the junction where the eastbound hallway ends at the North/ South hallway, then I will do the following:
    Assumption: I still have my Waraxe in one hand and the Orb in the other. (Had to sling shield to get Orb)

    Free Action: Say "Candelos, I can hear them straight to the north, keep going." I'll say this toward the direction of Candelos so as not to project my voice toward the "water" room directly north.
    Free Action: Mumble so that PC's in the pit room might be able to hear me "I am not a bitch, I am a princess of the kingdom of Donsolot and I only command and aid those who show respect."
    Move Action: Run 7 squares directly north.
    Standard Action: If I can see an ally ahead of me to the north who is engaged fighting a monster, I will use Commander Strike and give them a free basic attack. If I can see more than one ally to the north that is fighting, and one of the allies is Quinn, I will give him the basic attack.
    Standard Action (alternate): If I cannot see an ally ahead of me, I'll stow the Orb as a standard action.

    Sorry, Stu. I'm not sure why your token had moved back into the east/west hallway. I moved it back to where it was in the second post of this thread.

    From where Sonya was to the top of the stair is 9 squares and the stairs are 3 square long. After your run of 7 you are still in the North/South corridor and can't see into the room. Do you continue down into the room or stay at the top of the stairs?

    Since I cannot see an ally ahead of me, I will use my standard action to stow the Orb. I think it would be bad to lose the Orb in the water.

    I'm going to make a 5' step so me and Quinn are flanking the small lizardman.
    Use an Aegis of Shielding and mark the Large Lizardman.
    Hit small Lizardman with Booming Blade (at-will power).
    Scream again as a Free Action, "Marco".

    Kaddim: The booming blade missed. You rolled a 2 Sad
    The lizardman shifts/attacks (misses)/then shifts again. (special ability...)
    A second lizardman charges up and attacks Quinn and misses.
    A third lizardman emerges from the water and casts a spell. Both Kaddim and Quinn are caught in the spell and hit. Both were hit 20 vs Fort and 20 vs Fort.
    Kaddim takes 15 poison damage and is dazed.
    Quinn takes 6 poison damage and is dazed.

    It is now Quinn's turn. The first daze affect from the trap wears off, but the second from the spell is still in effect. Quinn is dazed and can take only one action.

    Do the largest damage daily on the lizard I attacked before. (hopefully thats a 3W attack and hopefully reliable so if I miss I don't use the daily up)

    There are no enemies in your reach. I think you can charge up next to where Kaddim is.

    How did that one lizardman above the swordmage get there? I hit him last round and I believe the swordmage move to flank before his turn which means for him to be there we should of gotten attacks of opportunities. Just looking for clarification.


    Since I have nothing better to do if that lizardman isn't near me move north one, east one, and north for one (up, right, up). Thats 3 movement of my 5 and shouldn't provoke any attack of opportunities.

    The lizardman has a special attack that allows him to shift and attack (as part of the attack). Then he shifted as a move action.

    So he shifted diagonal to get next to (east of) Kaddim, attacked, then shifted diagonal to be north of Kaddim.

    I have no idea where they are in relation to us. Can we move and get there? That black line in between the down stairs north of Sonya and the water where Quinn and Kaddim are is throwing me off.

    I will run twice which is 18 squares (7 movement +2 for running) going in the direction of Sonya and hopefully Quinn and Kaddim.

    The map is showing what the PCs can see at this moment, not where they've been.

    Since Thia has already been to the north...
    If you go north you will end up halfway down the stairs into the "water" room.
    If you go east then north you'll end up in the square next to Sonya.

    In both cases you can do one run and one move. Because of your current position and the walls you can't do two runs.

    Miri will do a full run due east & slightly north to the wall of the hallway south of the water. (6+2)
    Miri will then do another run north as far as she can unless that's in the water, in which case she'll stop just short. (6+2 again)

    Candelos: move 5 to get around the corn and go north on right side. Then run north up hallway 5+2.

    11 will put you at the base of the stairs, 12 will put you into the room in the water.

    On move #10 you see a large Lizardman. You're pretty sure you'll be in his reach if you move up any further.

    Assumption, Candelos is in the square just out of the "ambushing" Lizardman's reach and is in the hallway just ahead of me to the north, down the stairway a bit. Further assumption, Candelos is on the left side of the hallway (toward the West) as opposed to the right (East).

    Fact, Right hand has War Axe, left hand is Empty (just put Orb away).
    Move Action - Move (up to 5) down the stairs, not running. If I can get into position to see Quinn or the Swordmage, I will stop. If I get into position where I am within sight of Candelos and still out of reach of the "ambushing" Lizardman I will move to where I am equal distance to, but not closer to the Lizardman than Candelos. I will stay to the left side (West) in order to get the best visual angle into the room looking right (East).
    Standard Action - if I can see that Candelos is within his range to attack the Lizardman with a melee attack, I will use "Commander's Strike" and give Candelos a free basic attack. If I can see Quinn, he will receive the free basic attack instead. If neither Quinn nor Candelos can strike an enemy, then I will use my standard action to equip my Shield. Let me know which action I did.

    Minor Action - if I can see Quinn, I will use my last Inspiring Word to give Quinn some healing. If I cannot see Quinn, then I will not use my minor action.
