When does Giles think we should go in? If we enter at 4 AM, I believe I have time for an extended rest also...

Ember suggest we stagger our entry time.
    I vote for 4:00 AM
I likely don't have a handbag so she'll use the shopping bag from her purchase in the gift shop to place her wig, sunglasses, and regular clothes.
She will be wearing the dress she bought in the gift shop.
When the time comes she will enter at the front doors.

I think 4am is a good time so that we don't draw to much attention to ourselves.

I believe Telgarth wanted to rest as well. He just wanted to do some shopping first.

Who needs to bring in large items?
    Angel (6 shurikens, 2 daggers)
    Ember (staff/cane)

    Blade (sword?, gun?)
    Ashe (sword?, gun?)
    Telgarth (sword?, gun?)

We should plan on getting to the casino around 2am and scout the place out. Maybe we can sneak a few people into a service entrance.

What is the weather and what is the attire of other patrons?

I know there is security, are they patting down, using metal detectors

I would like to have my longsword,

My thought is to go in wearing an overcoat hiding a shortsword under my coat.

I will wear my holy symbol under my clothes.

I want to flip the dejada around and carry it with my left hand. Wrapping it to my left arm like a splint.

Do I think this will slip through?

I agree with heading in around midnight - 2 AM and scouting the place. Ashe will have his motorcycle clothes on and will have the shield, sword, and shotgun with him as well. If Ashe thinks he can slip inside one of the service entrances he will do so and hide the sword inside his jacket. If he doesn't think he can make it inside to wait he will wait outside and let the others head in who don't need the large items and watch from outside.

    Ember (staff/cane)
She doesn't have any place to hide this.
She only needs it for the one interupt she has right now.
Could she just pick up a dice stick off the craps table to use as a staff?

I'm doubtful anybody will get by the anything big.

After Ember gets in and cashes out, she can slip down the service stairs to the kitchen serving areas.
She can say she has just been hired. Ask for a uniform and a place to change.
When she has a chance she can open a back serve door for the people with big items.

If we can't get someone into a service entrance then we could try leaving one person outside with the weapons.

When it looks like something bad is about to happen we can take out the guards and let the guy with the weapons in.

We'll say it's Fall like now, dress is as most casinos; casual and up (with many dressing to be seen). There is security, but they weren't patting down yesterday and there wasn't any metal detectors. They were looking for weapons, but you think were more concerned with keeping out bums. You think they'd be pretty negligent though if they were to miss shotguns and/or longswords...

    (I don't know what a dejada is...)

    Whatever you guys want...

There are 3 ways into the casino: the 2x doors of the main entrance, the elevator from the parking level, or the service entrance (which is a metal door with a buzzer marked 'deliveries') also from the parking level (though other side).

As far as Giles wanting to tell you more... what do you guys tell him? So far, the only intel he has to go on was Blade telling him to abandon everybody else because they are "all mindfucked" and the place was "crawling with Vamps". He may be able to tell more if he had more info or if you asked key questions.

Staggered entrance? What is everybody else doing when the first person goes in? When someone gives me a plan of attack, I'll post the next maps...

I assumed we told him everything we could see in the casino during our 8 hour rest. (though most of us were heavily drugged and our intel may be suspect)

He's the "more experianed" leader of the group. He should tell us as much as he knows instead of us asking "key questions" and having him say "oh yeah" this may be useful to you...

Wow we have to re-hash everything posted to Giles and then ask question to get anything out of him?
This sounds like some past adventures where we spend the fisrt 4 hours of a session gathering info before actually go on the adventure.

We would have told Gile everything we know. He then should share what he knows. I'm sure he doesn't know every thing but it's going to be more than what we know.
We could then ask some relavent questions back.

    Dejada

    Simple one-handed ranged weapon
    Cost: 10 gp
    Damage: 1d8
    Proficient: +2
    Range: 10/20
    Weight: 2 lb.

A long, scooped basket fitted to a glovelike bracer, the dejada is used to hurl projectiles. Ammunition can be a fist-sized stone, but the weapon is also used to extend the range of explosive alchemical mixtures.

    Properties:
Load Free (Ranged weapons that loose projectiles, including bows, crossbows, and slings, take some time to load. When a weapon shows “load free” on the ranged weapons table, that means you draw and load ammunition as a free action, effectively part of the action used to attack with the weapon. Any weapon that has the load property requires two hands to load, even if you can use only one hand to attack with it. (The sling, for example, is a one-handed weapon, but you need a free hand to load it.) The crossbow is “load minor,” which means it requires a minor action to load a bolt into the weapon. If a power allows you to hit multiple targets, the additional load time is accounted for in the power.).

I think that's the smartest thing, but I asked a few times because I didn't want to assume.

    Mick wrote:

Umm... no. That doesn't sound like fun.

I didn't want to assume you'd tell him everything in case there were things you didn't want known, plus, he's a known friendly PC so dialogue provides roleplay opportunities...

Upon retelling what you've observed in the casino, he doesn't say much but you can tell he's disappointed that after all night & needing to be retrieved, no one explored more than the main floor. He wishes he had more to go on. He does say that Sam Mui, the owner, is new money and has opened a number of casinos along the coast. If he's a Vampire, he's a recently new one or low profile. He also tells you that Vampires get more powerful the longer they've been Undead, with some having been 'alive' for thousand(s) of years...

Upon hearing about the dream sequence, "That's remarkable! Normally everyone who lapses into a coma from the Orpheus drug each have to fight their worst nightmare and most typically only come out of it dead or Undead. Because all of you had so similar and recent of a traumatic experience, you were able to share & fight through one common nightmare instead of having each of your Demons to face. I've never heard of 4/4 recovering, especially with only 1 guide!..."

"...Sounds like the bodygaurd was a Vampire Familiar. They're living Humanoids that wish to be turned (for whatever reason) and are common daytime gaurdians of the Vampyr. Their multiple neck bites are the give-a-way, and they gain some Vampire abilities (increased strength, reflexes), but are still living and able to withstand the sun."

"Ashe, it sounds like your forefathers might have been part of the 'Tok-Nosfar', the last of the Undead resistance before the time of darkness. They've been unheard from for many centuries, although before the Watcher's Council was blown up, there were rumors of a resurgance, but I've not seen anything to substantiate that..."

Well Angel is good to go.

My plan is to get the others to the casino by 2am.

Perform recon on the outside of the casino trying to stay out of sight. Looking to find a way we can sneak someone inside.

If by 4am I'm unable to find an "easy" way to sneak somone in I'll head inside.

Weapons I'm planning on taking in are 1 dagger, 6 shurikens. This should be small enough to make it though undetected.

Hopefully we each PC will have a cell phone so that we can keep in contact. Everyone should also have some of the "No Doze" just in case.

Once inside I'll gamble for a little bit and pretend to have a good time. I'll make sure not to eat/drink anything while inside and be on the look out for any "funny" odors in case try gassing the room.

    Note:
Those who must use weapons may want to just use daggers for the time being. Sure they do a bit less damage, but they're better than nothing...

Sure Ember will go at 2 AM and stand watch for Angel while scopes out the exterior of the casino.
When we are ready to enter at (4 AM?), she'll lead and go first. (Hey, is that guy in the car ever going to wake up?)If anybody doesn't go in because of large equipment, she'll tell themto wait by the service door. she'll try and open it by 4:30. If she doesn't open it by 4:40 they will need to find another way in.

She will be wearing the dress she bought in the gift shop.
She'll use the shopping bag from her purchase in the gift shop to place her wig, sunglasses, and regular clothes.

When I go in, she will look for the same bouncer that took her chips.
Say "hey honey, I'm back for my chips"

If she gets her chips, she'll cashout all but $100 in $5 chips.
If they ask, I'll tell them "I'm going on a shopping spree"

More to follow since thing may change due to the dynamics of the others actions.

Ashe is one who wants to get his large weapon in. Having a sunblade will certainly help in the fight that is coming up. The service entrance sounds like the best bet. AShe will be outside until/unless he finds a way to gain access through the service entrance.

Ashe will disguise his facial features again and is in different clothes (motorcycle outfit versus the previous evenings regular clothes). The shield will be on his back for now.

If I wait until 4 will Telgarth rec an extended rest?

If he won't get a rest either way, the he will use the 'Jamison' disguise, cash out and use some of the previously gathered information to start investigating other floors.

ie hide in shadows(and out of camera view) trying to retrieve more info/layout.

I'll be wearing a long black overcoat, black clothes, and sunglasses. I will have some of the others look at me before I
Attempt to get in the casino.

A suggestion, we should check the garage entrance. Might be easier than charging through the front door. Also we could have another escape/chase route.

Yes. The others finished their extended rest by 11:30pm so if you went shopping in town then took an extended rest, you'd be back before 4 hours. With the supplies you're looking for you can extended rest in time for a 2am incursion.

Sounds like 2am entry with Angel & Ember leading the way Ashe & Telgarth (Blade?) observing the entrance is the plan? I'll post something for when the party goes back there at 2:00 tonight unless I hear the party chose alternate plans.

Is Stu ready to jump in yet?

Seem like Blade would be the best for checking out the upstairs back areas.
The vamps would sense he has vamp bloodline would leave hime alone if he wear their clan symbol. Ember in a cocktail out fit would get sent back down stair or maybe killed if caught alone upstairs.
