    I'll take another look at the actual item desciption... I assumed it lasted the entire encounter since it is a Daily item use.

    I'm going to have it remain as a Daily power that lasts for one encounter (or 5 minutes).

    Candelos may turn the power off by using a Minor action on his turn. Once turned off you can't turn it back on until after an extended rest and the power is recharged.

    It is a daily & it doesn't say 'begin their next turn', so it does make sense that it lasts for the encounter.

    Sonya, they're all bunched up for me so I can blast 4 of them at once. If you delay until just after my turn, I may be able to clear some of the minions out and give you combat advantage on your next turn.

    Note:
    The order you specify your actions does make a difference...

    Since Thia has tried to get up once before and didn't she knows that if she fails to get up her turn ends.

    Thia's turn:
    Minor: put away bow
    Move: pull out sword
    Standard: stand.
    Icy Terrain 28 vs Ref hits for 0 damage, but Thia remains prone and her turn ends.

    After Thia's turn is Candelos.

    Hey, since no one else went yet, and Candelos still has a move action left, can he still use his move as a minor and turn off the whirlwind power? As one of the many allies adjacent to him, I was just curious... :-)

    Yes, he would like to turn off the orb power since it has no effect on the eladrins.

    Thia took 4hp of damage at the end of her turn because she is marked and didn't make an attack against the knight that marked her.

    Winter Blade's turn:

    Thia is current'y at 34/65hp with 2/7 surges.

    Caster's turn:
    At the start of her turn she takes 5hp of thunder damage
    Special recharged...

    Move: teleport 1S
    Standard: cast Dazzling Snow (close blast 3)
    DS on Miri 24 vs Will hits for 6hp of cold damage. Miri is blinded for a turn.
    DS on Thia 25+2 vs Will hits for 6hp of cold damage. Thia is blinded for a turn.
    DS on Candelos 25 vs Will hits for 6hp of cold damage. Candelos is blinded for a turn.
    DS on Kaddim 19 vs Will hits for 6hp of cold damage. Kaddim is blinded for a turn.

    As usual, can't see the map. I think I'm blocked anyway from entering the room.
    Need condition of the party before my turn so I know who to heal (hit points and conditions that a save can end).

    Usually marks only take effect if you make an attack that doesn't include the marker. This would be the only one I've seen that effects if you make no attack at all. Unless this mark is really unusual, I don't think that's right...

    Start of Sonya's Turn:
    Minor Action: Inspiring Word on Thia. I don't think Thia has any conditions on her that a Save would end. If this is true, then I'll add the bonus 2d6 hits onto the heal. If Thia does have a condition that a Save might end, then I'll consider negating the 2d6 extra hits and give her a Save instead.

    Standard Action: I think enemies are blocking my way into the room. Since I cannot shift into difficult terrain, does that mean that I cannot do a Bull Rush? I'll probably just swing at them anyway. If there's another party member that could clearly use a healing surge, I'll swing at the most damaged enemy with Lion's Roar. If there's not another party member that can clearly use a heal, then my next choice would be just a basic attack on the most wounded enemy.

    Move Action: I might do another heal or grant a save if someone needs it. I don't think I can move anywhere and I don't know if I really do as I like being able to stand up.

    Standard: use Lion's Roar on a Winter Blade
    LR 24 vs Ac hits for 22hp of damage. A white light is emitted from the blue knight which shields the Winter Blade. The target of your attack takes no damage and the blue knight takes some damage. (The party has seen this used often enough now to know that the knight takes 1/2 of the damage when they shield a ally. The other half is negated.).

    I believe you get to select someone to use a surge when you use this power.

    Move: Use Rousing Words on Candelos. Candelos uses two surges and is now at 78/78hp with 10/14 surges

    Miri's turn...
    Miri is currently blind and marked by the blue knight. She doesn't take cold damage from Candelos since he turned his power off.

    I believe it's a monster only ability.

    Not very good for a PC since it takes a standard action and is an encounter power.

    Yep, using the heal from Lion's Roar, I'll have Miri use a surge with a +5 bonus.

    The restrained condition went away at the end of the knights turn and none of the nights recharged this round.

    Divine Challenge works by attacking someone, so as long as he's able to target the correct square he would be able to mark them.

    Divine Challenge Paladin Feature
    At-Will ✦ Divine, Radiant
    Minor Action Close burst 5
    Target: One creature in burst
    Effect: You mark the target. The target remains marked until
    you use this power against another target, or if you fail
    to engage the target (see below). A creature can be subject
    to only one mark at a time. A new mark supersedes a
    mark that was already in place.
    While a target is marked, it takes a –2 penalty to attack
    rolls for any attack that doesn’t include you as a target.
    Also, it takes radiant damage equal to 3 + your Charisma
    modifier the first time it makes an attack that doesn’t include
    you as a target before the start of your next turn. The
    damage increases to 6 + your Charisma modifier at 11th
    level, and to 9 + your Charisma modifier at 21st level.
    On your turn, you must engage the target you challenged
    or challenge a different target. To engage the
    target, you must either attack it or end your turn adjacent

    TS 33-5 vs Ac (critical) hit for 33hp of damage. A white light emits from the blue knight shielding the yellow knight from the damage. The blue knight takes half of the damage, but the yellow knight is still knocked prone.

    Both winter blades shift, then move to the room to the south.

    Caster's turn:
    At the start of her turn she takes 5hp of thunder damage.

    Standard: cast Winter Winds on Miri

    The blindness ends.
    At the end of the casters turn it doesn't look like she's taking thunder damage any more.

    Standard Action: Throw Shield at enemy. If there is more than one, throw at the closest one w/o cover. If I have a clear shot at a very wounded one, throw at that one. The yellow one looks like a good choice.

    Free Action: Drop axe
    Move Action: Draw sword

    Action point: (should get healing from Sonya) cast 'Force Orb' on Blue knight w/2ndary targets yellow & caster

    Standard action: cast 'Scorching Burst' on same 3 targets (should be at +2 damage from 'Arcane Reserves' feat)

    move action: shift 1 square S

    free action: "That's right 'fall back' witch! I warned you not to mess with us!"

    done.
