Stargate Phoenix: Season 1 Episode 1 12/18 @6pm

Tentatively scheduling the first session for 12/18, let me know if that works and whether or not we need a character building session before that.

The game will be held virtually over Roll20. Audio may be over Discord if that works better.

Note:
The players really should get together to plan out what roles will be covered.
Or at least have a discussion on the board or discord...

I've created an Engineer on Ross's character sheet and move it over as best i could to the Roll 20 sheet. Not sure I got everything 100% correct but I think I am good.

I will also be creating a medic before the game.

I created a Medic. Not sure I got everything correct. So, we can carry our Base Kit plus the armor load out plus what is allowed by our STR, right?

Will create second PC today or tomorrow...

That one threw me as well. With the Tac Vest I have a bulk of 9 (8+1str) and all the kit stuff for the Engineer shows 0 so most of my bulky items were free.

The AC of the armor load out also threw me. The tac vest shows an AC of 16+dex in the book but the sheets were both off and I just modified it on Roll20.

PCs get the 'Base Kit' + any kit due to class/race/origin + armor loadout (for a Tactical Vest that's 8+StrMod)

So a PC with 12 strength would have Base Kit + 9 Bulk.

Some items come in groups:
3 Grenades = Bulk 1
1 Ammo clip = Bulk 1
1 extra side arm = Bulk 1...

How much was the sheet off by?
Maybe it included a helmet which is Bulk 0, +1 AC, and provides Night Vision...

Ross's sheet shows a 0 for all armor but I think that's a mis check for the calculation. That puts my total AC at 2 on his sheet which is the +2 for dex.

Roll20 shows a 12 for AC which I think is base 10 +2 dex. I don't see a spot on the sheet for armor.

When I use Ross' spreadsheet I see a section for Armor


When I fill that out it totals up AC

Yeah, works for me too.

For Ross's I didn't see the checkbox to the left to show as equipped. Checked that and it went to 18.

Just curious, is there anyone that is thinking of playing and needs help building a PC?

Greetings and congratulations on successfully completing your SG-P training.

Our Tok’ra allies have informed us that the System Lord Anubis is likely to come out on top in the current System Lord in fighting. Once their conflict is over its only a matter of time before he sets his sights on Earth.

We don’t have a clear timetable on when an attack will be made, but time is not on our side.

The first planet on our list to check out has been designated H3E-D60, and I’ll need to speak with our Astrophysics team about their naming scheme…

We’ve sent a MALP through the gate. And the gate seems to be in a sandy desert.
• Daytime temperature is 108F
• Air quality is within acceptable norms
• Preliminary soil sample indicate a low concentration of Trinium. There may be minable quantities nearby.

Primary mission goals:
• Determine if there are any Goa’uld present. Numbers, strength. Don’t engage, bring back intel for future engagement.
• Make contact with locals and see if they’d be interested in opening trade negotiations we’re interested in raw trinium and other minerals. See what they are in need of.
• Find new technologies that may be used in this upcoming conflict.

Looks like Chris and Stuart have one character each and Art and Arthur have none yet. We could use a scientist and/or a diplomat. Otherwise I am leaning towards Nykal, Nyssa, Joyako and Hall, but I am open to suggestions. Ive seen the movie a couple times and some of SG1 so I don't know Stargate super well.

If new PCs are made before game time, you can shuffle PCs around.

I will be making another PC for sure.

Recon first. If your team can determine that there's no Goa'uld presence, then we can setup a base camp near the gate.

Our primary UAV is scouting another site and our backup is having technical issues and is out of commission.
The current timebox for this mission is 3-5 days. We'll open the gate on our end daily to get a report over comms.

Taking a few extra items isn't a problem as long as it doesn't overburden your team.
Just create a list of the items and quantity and who will be carrying what.

Roger that. I will leave 2 sidearm clips, 3 grenades, duct tape and monocluar, and take pan-cultural clothing, spare canteen, spare MREs. Will recommend my team to adjust as well.

In the Equipment section p78 "Facilities"

Each player can choose one Facility and gain its bonus (+1) for the upcoming mission.

Annabelle is spending her time on the firing range.

Nykal will also go on the firing range (To Hit).
Walt will spend time in the armory (Ranged Damage).
