I can make it, however, Steve, you might want to think about running it in D&D 5e, as I think you will lose lots of players when going to a new system.

D&D 4e is by far my first choice.
D&D 5e is an acceptable second choice.
Other RPGs I'm willing to try. Anyone ever play Path Finder? Is that any good?

I can't make it in person on Friday the 30th. My wife loves halloween and we are having folks up that weekend. Might be able to get a few hours in on line though.

It's really just D&D with different rules.

I think Ken's going to continue his SG-1 campaign using 5E so it would probably better to stick with that.
Steve, if you want to do 5e I can bring you PDF's of most of the books. You already know the basics, and we can help you with the rules.

Hey Chris, come for as much as you can, it will be difficult to build a pc over the phone, but if I can get an idea of what you are interested in and discuss as a party then I can send you some stuff to help you build a character and/or we can meet another time.

Stuart I have most of the pathfinder PDFs as well as several other rpg games. Pathfinder is a cleaned up version of 3E. Its pretty good, the Lelands have played several games of it with Tena as DM.

Ross, Rifts is really fun imo and it has stuff that no version of D&D has.

I’m always up for new games. I’m just thinking most others don’t usually want to try new RPG’s, especially if it involves getting and reading up on new resources.

A quick google search appears to show second edition launched 1 year ago? I havent gotten any books recently so I must have first edition stuff.

I have played a bit of Pathfinder. Its fine. The way spells worked threw me for a loop though.

I'll bring you guys the 2nd edition Pathfinder info Friday.
