1 Intro for 21 Feb Session - Intercepting Krem on Thu Mar 19, 2009 1:21 pm

At the keep, Thia (agent working for Bakkra), gathers Gabby, Shedar, Sean, and Kerengi in Lord Corona's war room and relays the following:
We know that Krem, minor official of Minrath who has been implicated by several parties, is traveling from Bree to Bloodstorm Keep. Although we do not know the exact purpose of his trip, we suspect he is carrying an important message to Lord Kalen. He likely knows information vital to unraveling this entire conspiracy and he may also be carrying important physical evidence.
Make haste to the village of Castle Creek which is one day to the northwest of Bloodstorm Keep. It is highly likely that Krem will cross the bridge at Castle Creek on his way to Bloodstorm Keep. Keep the bridge under watch and attempt to identify Krem. When you do identify him, either capture him, or follow him and attempt to capture him. Because you will be so close to Bloodstorm Keep, attempt to keep a low profile. Do not wear the colors of Corona Keep or your church. In fact, if you can think of a good disguise that will draw less attention to your group, perhaps you should do so. If you can remember the unit commander's names and unit numbers, we do have a few Minrath Army uniforms we can loan you, but if you're caught wearing these, you'll be executed as spies.
We've selected you from Zazoo's Roughnecks for this mission as you'll likely draw less attention than some of the other agents in the group; most notably Zazoo, Reptis, and Nevin. You should be able to blend in to the local population without too much difficulty. Do you have any questions?
(decide as a group if you want to wear these uniforms or not)

The group makes their way (in whatever clothes) to the village of Castle Creek. Just before the village, the group encounters a pair of men on horseback they immediately recognize as members of the Nightmares. We'll start the adventure with this encounter...

Stu, you need to use larger text for us old people. I'm getting eye strain reading this.

Copy and paste and change the font size to anything you want? Wink IC: What about traveling in monk robes? Is there a reason why a group would be traveling to or fram a monistary in this area? Would be a good disguise? (I ask this of Thia)

4 Temples on Thu Mar 19, 2009 7:55 pm

While still at Corona Keep, Thia says to Sean, "The only temples very close to Castle Creek are one of Hextor (just on the outskirts) and a larger temple of Hextor at Bloodstorm Keep. You could dress up as monks of nearly any god and just say that you are passing by. You could be merchants with guards, nobles with guards, soldiers with prisoners, bounty hunters, or just about anything. I recommend that you pick something where you wouldn't have to hide your armor as that's typically difficult to disguise."

How about a band of adventurers looking for work.

lol, mercs I like it. Sometimes the easiest way to hide something is to leave it in plain sight.
