    Miri will:

    move action: move W + NW to be in line with the opening (& Candelos & the nodule)
    standard action: cast 'Force Orb' on the nodule
    action point: cast 'Flaming Sphere' on far side of nodule between it & wall
    done.

    Oh, if we still don't have LOS after Candelos pushed through, then Miri will:

    run + move directly south of Candelos & that's it.

    You can't move and charge, but you can run and charge.

    Kaddim's turn:
    Move: use run action to move into the room

    Standard: charge 18-5 vs Ac hits for 16hp of damage. You feel that the nodule can take quite a few more hits like that...

    vs Kaddim 30 vs Will-5 hits for 13hp of damage. Kaddim is dazed (save ends).
    vs Candelos 26 vs Will-5 hits for 13hp of damage. Candelos is dazed (save ends).
    vs Sonya 18 vs Will hits for 13hp of damage. Sonya is dazed (save ends).
    vs Miri 17 vs Will-5 hits for 13hp of damage. Miri is dazed (save ends).
    vs Thia 30 vs Will-5 hits for 13hp of damage. Thia is dazed (save ends).


    The HoM uses an Action Point...
    A blueish ray of energy is emitted from the nodule and shoots toward Kaddim.

    Ray 32 vs Will (critical) hit. It does not look like Kaddim took any damage from the attack...

    Thia will use disrupting strike on the mindblast versus Sonya. I believe the attacks happen all at once so Thia isn't dazed yet so can make opportunity actions.

    Also, did you get the extra 5 damage from two fanged strike since both attacks hit?

    Hopefully Sonya can give Kaddim a save.

    Hmm, looks like I made a mistake...

    The mindblast on Sonya missed. Her Will defense is 22 and she didn't run in. She does take 1/2 damage on a miss and is not dazed.

    Thia can use her Disruptive Strike on an attack vs another PC if she likes.

    BB 35 vs Ac hits for 14hp of damage. If Sonya moves away from Kaddim she takes additional damage.

    vs Dazed 19 (success)
    vs Dominated 4 (failed).

    Minor Action: Shake it Off on Kaddim, make save w + 5 bonus. My other actions will depend on if Kaddim made his save or not.

    Kaddim rolls a 9+5=14. Kaddim is no longer Dominated.

    Standard Action, use Hammer and Anvil against HoM, give Kaddim a change for a payback strike!
    Move Action; none, although I'd like to see the party's conditions. I think Sonya's the worst off and Thia is the only one with a condition on her. Nothing this round I think.

    I'll go ahead and use an IW w Saving Inspiration on Thia. I'll let Thia choose to either make a save vs the Dazed or to get the extra hit points back and get the most out of her surges.

    Standard: use Biting Volley on the HoM (TFS was already used)
    BV #1 25 vs Ref hits for 12hp of damage. The HoM is destroyed and the acid in the area quickly dissapates.

    The nodule breaks apart and several things fall to the floor.
    1. A dead creature that looks like an overgrown brain with tentacles growing from its base.
    2. A metal rod (magical)
    3. A large gem (magical)
    4. A headband of some type (magical)


    At the end of Thia's turn she rolls a 14 and is no longer dazed.

    Well guys, if we head back to see Breeze, do we go in guns a blazing or to "talk"? Man, I'm with Mickey, we've barely been defeating the encounters on Level 2, our tactics aren't THAT bad are they? I mean, even with decent tactics and at least average luck, we've almost gotten wiped out a couple times.
    Finish Level 2 is my vote if there's anywhere left to go and if not, then we can try Level 3.

    Didn't we leave Sahaguin & Treants somewhere on level 1? Maybe we have to go back down there anyway to kill Korovorkas 2 more times...

    Sonya can't use the rod or headband at all. Although she can use the shard, it would be far better to have Thia, Candelos or Kaddim use it.

    Candelos can't use his weapon as a implement.
    Best bet is Kaddim.

    I say we assign everything we can use, and dust everything else, right away. It's not like we've been breezing through these encounters, so we can use any help we have available. What else do we have to assign/dust?
