Yes, even when using a two handed ranged weapon, in 4.0 you still threaten (I guess you're kicking) but do damage only with an unarmed strike. Even if you're unarmed you still threaten squares.

Do you have a page number? The only thing I see is that you need to be able to make a melee basic attack and you can't if your hands are full. Also I don't see any rules for kicking.

Note: I put a yellow halo around the robed figures that made extra attacks.
They're all wearing the same type of robes and it is hard to distinguish the robed figures apart. Once they start moving around you think it will be hard to keep track of them until they attack again...
Those not adjacent to the "halo'd" robed figures don't know they're special unless someone tells them.

This is risky but I don't really like being surrounded and we need to take them out as fast as possible I think.
Thia will twin strike two of the non fast robed guys next to her and she has prime shot so she is at a +1. She has defensive mobility so they should be at a -2 on their opportunity attacks.
Save for dazed at the end of her turn.

At the end of the NPCs turn it doesn't look like either of the robed figures are taking ongoing damage anymore.
Also you do notice that the NPC caster is speaking to his NPC allies in a language you don't understand. He seems to be influencing them.

Sorry, you can't.
You can't use Immediate actions while dazed. You could have used it on the caster's attack, but he rolled a 27 vs your fort of 18.

Found the lost robed figure. I mistakenly deleted him on Thia's last attack. I've placed him NW of the caster. This is the one that attacked Thia.
