Espirit - Solicitation to Sell Vials

While at Corona Keep, during the day after the Venom adventure, Deslocke appears at Espirit's quarters and asks Espirit if he would be interested in selling one or more of the three vials of Carrion Crawler poison he has. Deslocke also asks Espirit why he even carries a long bow as Deslocke has never seen Espirit even pull it out during the two adventures they have shared together.
Deslocke says he's interested in purchasing the poison as he (Deslocke) uses his bow often and on rarer occasion uses his dagger. If Espirit is interested in selling, how much would he want per vial?

According to the DMG (p51) the poison is worth 250gp per vial. Espirit is willing to sell them for 200gp per vial and he has three of them.

Espirit tells Deslocke that he keeps his bow for long range shots since most of his spells have a range of 10.
Espirit is actually more accurate with his bow than with spells, but the bow attacks AC which is usually higher than the other defenses he can target with his spells. His bow attacks are +7vsAC 1d10+3 avg8.5, where Cloud of Daggers is +6vsRef 1d6+4+5 avg12.5

FYI, Carion Crawler poison, while a pretty good 5th level poison, smells like rancid vomit!

One thing I did note while reading the description is that you have to make a second "to hit" roll with the poison +8vs Fort.

I'm not sure if the halflings were making secondary rolls or not.

They were, and "making their secondary rolls" was exactly it... I think the first 6/7 secondary attacks hit. It was something like that anyway.
Note: the Halfling Prowlers from the MM had unnamed poison that only did ongoing 3 poison damage and they got off most of their shots (MM says they carry 10 poison bolts), but that's not a book poison, so it "just so happened" their remaining vials were slightly more powerful. (Same +8 Fort save, but ongoing 5, not 3... but stinky!)

Deslocke to Espirit "Hmmm, if we're able to sell the dragon, I'll purchase all three. Can you hold them for me for a few days until we see if we find a buyer for the dragon?"

After King Komodo gives Deslocke a new bow, Deslocke addresses Espirit the next morning at breakfast at the local inn in the village next to Corona Keep. There's a small chance some other PC's are present, but Deslocke really doesn't care who:
"Espirit, now that the dragon is gone, I do have some money to purchase the viles, would you be willing to take 500 GP for all three vials as a set? Let me know."

Sure, you have a deal.
