GAME ON! Rainbow Warriors - 13 January 2017 Level 2

On Monday the 9th, Kenji RSVP'ed that he can make it. We have enough for a game. Level 2

I'm out. Been way too busy the last couple weeks. Hopefully I can make the next one.

Not sure if I can make it or not. Milton may or may not be starting his D&D campaign on Friday.

Kenji/ Brad is confirmed as DM. We have Ross, Stuart, and Mick as players. No word from Ken or Ibuki.

Happy to see "the 'little Duchess' all grown up", Queen Anji (Auntie Anji, as Josie used to call her) welcomed the young royal and her off worldly friends to royal treatment, with nicer accommodations than some of you ever imagined (some not) you are all put up in palace accomodations. Taking seriously the young Duchess and the 'Rainbow warriors' warning about Goblin/cultist kidnappings, as also just before a boy collapsed at the castle with a similar message of, "they took my little brother! They made us lie to the Royal Patrol..." Queen Anji dispatched her Royal Guard to handle it.

The party spent a few days as Queen Anji's royal guests and enjoyed many tales of the Queen of Hearts, Josie's grandma, and her fierce "Heart attack" campaigns during the last Orc wars, until her Royal Guard returned, fresh from slaying many Goblins, Orcs, and freeing kidnapped children, just as relayed by the party. On high alert and eager to ride and secure her Queendom, Queen Anji thanks the party and pledges her support to Princess Jackie. Upon hearing these tales again, Josie realizes she used to visit every year, but hasn't been back in almost a decade, since her aunt died in the last Orc War and the Queen of Hearts became more secluded.

Glad to hear the news via the sending stones Princess Jackie gave Josie, the Princess was disappointed Josie didn't take more royal gifts do secure relations with the other Queendoms, and sent the other off worlders with her trusted captain to rendezvous en route to the next closest Queendom. "Three Queendom Junction" is a fairly known travel point between Queendoms, and the river runs near there. While some of the party is enjoying royal treatment at Queen Anji's castle, some of you spent those days aboard a large armed transport flying the flag of the Queen of Hearts. The boat guests notice the officers eyeing strongly the artifact weapons they carry...

The split party can communicate with each other and Princess Jackie via 3 tuned magic sending stones, and right before the boat should arrive at 3 Q Junction, the Princess communicates that the Captain on their ship isn't her trusted captain, but an officer the Queen of Hearts switched in... knowing this and spying on the officers, the boat passengers overhear a plot to kill the off worlders on board, then attack the off worlders they're meeting right as they reach Three Queendom Junction...

Fortunately, the party has the upper hand, as traitors don't know the Rainbow Warriors are aware of their plans... Yet!

Note: It's the evening before the day the Captain plans on betraying his passengers, you can communicate via magic sending stones, tonight's initial encounter is set up for when the party rejoins...

1. Yes, level appropriate, of course.
2. Kind of, the party has 2 of the 3, Princess Jackie (NPC, Josie's cousin) has the 3rd.
