    Dear Bob Barker, Sonya would like to check behind Door # 1, the one on the platform. If there doesn't appear to be anything of interest there, I might investigate Door # 2, but will need someone who has good senses to go with me to check for traps.

    The door on the platform is locked. Sonya doesn't hear any noises coming from the other side of the door.

    Quinn, actually you're a little tired from the fight, but not sleepy at all. Which you think is a bit odd...

    Thia unlocks the door on her first try (thievery modified roll of 27). I think you're going to be pretty busy as the only one with thievery skills. Miri does have Knock, but it'll cost gold every time she uses it.

    Who's going to open the door...

    I am staying put until I feel I can heal someone again with my clerical powers (daily power), until then I will force myself to rest.

    "This place seems pretty defensible, especially since Thia figured out the traps in here. I say the rest of us explore some of the adjacent areas while Quinn rests. I'd like to explore more.     I say yes for extended rest, no to checking the door for now, and I say turn the traps back on if they have been disabled. Now we know where they are....make sure everyone is briefed on their locations.

    ...should probably at least check the path to the other door to the north and take a quick peek into the door that Thia unlocked. If Thia is with me, I'll take a quick look if she ready for me to close the door so she can attempt to "relock" it.

    If Thia wants to check out the other north door for traps and then we both listen (for a few rounds) to see if there's anything there, we should do that also. We should have knowledge of what is immediately around us in case we get attacked and have to move to that area. Also, this area isn't "that" defensible and one of the other two areas may be much better.

    I don't think we should camp in the pit area as that seemed to be the main entrance. I don't think we want to have unexpected visitors teleporting in like we did.

    It seems like the lizardmen had this territory so, assuming we killed them all, this should be a fairly safe place for an extended rest.

    It still sounds like some of the party members want to rest, while others want to explore.
    Quinn wants to rest.
    Kaddim wants to rest.
    Sonya wants to explore the door on the platform and listen at the north door.
    Miri wants to explore
    Thia took 20 minutes to figure out the water trap control panel. After that she unlocked the door on the platform. What next.

    I'm not sure what Candelos want to do...

    Let me know what you guys are going to do. If some go exploring and interrupt someones rest, then their rest will likely be wasted are ineffective.

    Thia doesn't mind waiting and resting for everyone else. It has been about a half hour now since we dropped the lizardmen since we took a 5 minute rest and then searched around for a while and then I messed around with the control panel.

    If everyone can rest, I say we do so, make sure we have more healing for the party etc.

    Ok, sound like resting it is...

    The party is not interrupted while taking an extended rest. If Miri is going to create any items, I'll need them before we can continue so I can update the PC/tokens.

    ...definately need a short rest. Extended rest is even better.
    Then we can check out the doors. If Miri wants to make the + 1 hand axe for me while we're resting, that would be great.

    I assume it was understood that everyone used healing surges to get back to 100% health before we took our 8 hour rest. I know thats what I would do even though I didn't state it. Quinn would be stupid if he didn't.

    During an Extended Rest you automatically get all your HP's back so you don't have to state your using healing surges.

    I'm keeping track of experiance, but plan on having level-ups after certain milestones have been reached.
