Who's running the next game?

My Saturday morning/afternoons are booked, but could make a Friday or Saturday evening game.

After Wed I'll have a better idea what mt schedule is, but I'm eager to run my 17th level Dragonborn adventure...

Oh. You may be right. I wasn't planning on skipping any levels, so +1 from last time. Are you guys interested in playing these characters through 30? Or do we want to end it at 20th? I'm happy to run adventures as high as you guys want to play...

Yeah, I thought we were at 16th for the next adventure also.
The next possible time I could run the next WAR! adventure would be 12 November (first available Friday) or 23 or 30 October (Saturdays).

Oh, Oct 24th evening, I'm busy with a party that Stu made fun of me for when he saw it on my Facebook page, and Oct 30th, day/early evening I was thinking of attending a rally but not sure yet.

This weekend my wife is in California so I have the boys. If we did it at my place I would be a little preoccupied with the boys for the first part but once they head to bed it wouldn't be a big deal. Otherwise I am out this weekend.

Who's up for a 16th (thx!) level Dragonborn adventure this Fri the 22nd?

If there's interest, I'll post a prequel set up tonight.

If this Fri doesn't work, how about next Fri 29th or Sat 30th (day or evening)? If either of those work better, I'll post a set up by Fri...

House was on the market in the Summer, sold after being on the market for less than two months. Got pretty good money, found just the right Buyer. New house is equivalent but instead of main and upstairs, it is main and (large) basement (where the martial arts room and D&D room will be). Instead of going to a middle school and high school that are in the bottom 33% of the state, by moving less than 1/4 mile to the other side of the school district border, Kobe gets to go to a middle school that is in the top 10% in the state and a High School that is currently in the top 7% in the state and top 5% in the nation.

Pick up the keys for the new house tomorrow (it is halfway between this house and where Mickey lives). Only five rooms left to finish boxing up, all other rooms are now totally empty. Actually haven't legally owned this house since 1 September but have been able to live here rent free with the permission of the new owners until a new house was found. Free rent ends on Halloween so will pay rent for a couple weeks until move day. Gonna have ta hire movers anyway unless you guys can move a grand piano...

yep, and yep. Want my piano that was a gift from my grandmother in one piece. Yep, Newport Hills about 4 blks north of South China, halfway to Mickey's house. Like I said Mick, now instead of 10 minutes for you, it is only 6 minutes for you to drive over but that 4 minute difference gets Kobe into the Bellevue school district at a time when real estate prices are way down and interest rates are really low.

Campaign recap for Kevin & refresher for everyone else...

The PCs started out at 1st level thru 10th up North (in Stu's campaign), then settled South to the coast from 11th to present (16th) to the Dragonborn Kingdom's Royal City.

The Dragonborn, per the PHB, are a landless, scattered people, having been all but wiped out heroicly defending the world against the Teifling empire's war of world domination a millenia ago.

Per the campaign, Tiamat & Bahamut themselves declared a truce and united to re-establish a Dragonborn kingdom through powerful divine rituals. All the Dragonbon in the world feel the irresistable pull of 'Sukenra' and like migrating salmon feel compelled to travel to the Royal City.

To establish the new Dragonborn Kingdom, the divine calling also compelled 1 Ancient Dragon of every chromatic and metalic color. With such allies, the hordes of Orc who formerly occupied these lands ceded the lands not only without a fight, but politely and quickly, signing into a trilateral treaty between the Dragonborn, the Orc, and the Human Horselords for territory.

The Dragonborn Kingdom is in the shape of a triangle wedging in between the Orc lands to the NW, the Horselords to the NE, Elven forests lining the N of them, and Corona Keep where the PCs 'grew up' just N of the Elven forest.

The calling of Sukenra also attracted many nearby random Dragons as well, and all the Dragons by divine decree were playing nice and abiding by the rule of King Komodo & Queen Monatore, which made all of their decrees pass without challenge, even by the extremely powerful wizard & Royal Advisor, Jafar, who felt cheated by the Gods that he was not tapped to rule the new Kingdom.

During the Queen's birthday and official inaguration ceremony for the Kingdom, the followers of Tiamat sparked a takeover attempt for the rule. Thwarted of course by the PCs, who with a sentient divine armor, hijacked the Tiamat cultist ritual to teleport back to their lairs ALL the Ancient Dragons (not just the Metalic Ancient Dragons).

Since that day, the pull of Sukenra ended, most all the other Dragons returned to their lair and are no longer playing nice or compelled to heed the King & Queen, and the PCs have been helping the King & Queen with missions and defending the considerably more vulnerable Kingdom.

Fastforward from 11th level to present (16th)...

The PCs, friends of the King & Queen, just helped them both honor the trilateral treaty and march to war to save the Human neighbors. King Komodo, upon the PCs impressive aerial arrival, appointted the PCs the top ranking 'Royal Guard' before a crowded assembly in the Royal courtyard.

King Komodo charged the Royal Guard to fly East & West to rally the Kingdom North to the Orc & war.

**next adventure setup (campaign summary over)**

Following the King's command, the party splits up & flies E & W with royal decrees in hand and proclamations of war, charged with rallying the citizenry of the Kingdom outside the Royal City. As the RG travels from settlement to settlement, each Dragonborn family, young & old, male & female, immediately and eagerly gear up and travel N to the rondevous spot.

(Surveying the land as such, the PCs also discover many Dragons didn't travel home as thought...)

Upon everyone gathering at the spot, King Komodo learns the exiled Jafar & his ally the Red Dragon Ember have settled in at the PCs old home, Corona Keep. Since he's too much for the common troops, as is the Orc King, King Obould (a Lich), King Komodo & Queen Monatore went after Jafar & Ember, the City Gaurd organzed the Dragonborn militia to fight the Orc hordes, and the Royal Guard speeds NE hot on the trail of the Orc Lich-King Obould.

The party member with the highest perception sees a marching Orc squad brandishing the flags of King Obould ahead...

Did you consult a map of Westron? The description above would make the area huge, covering a good portion of the continent with a land area approaching the size of some moderate states in the USA.

Dragons settling in at Corona Keep? Like, actually in the keep itself or in the lands to the south of the keep (e.g. just near the keep)?

Yup. From W to E coast and all along the S coast. The southern portion of the map you said you weren't using. That covers Elven, Human, Orc, & Dragonborn lands though. And Dragonborn lands houses most of their entire race recently resettled.

The Party is Paragon, and fighting for the fate of kingdoms now.

Not plural, 'just' 1 Elder Red Dragon and her epic Dragonborn wizard ally, Jafar. And, she's re-polymorphed into a beautiful firey red head Elf.

No, they didn't kill everyone... Jafar loves ordering people around & generally being a tyrant and you need survivors for that.

So they only killed the high level guys who would have fought back then. Still cool.
