    Stardate 20210724 - The crew of the Intrepid is sent on thier first away mission to check on some scientists that have not checked in.  Upon beaming down, it is discovered the they have regressed and four of them attack the landing party who stun them.  Investigating a strange structure, the landing party find a tesaract and after much investigation, figure out how to find and transform the pure energy remaining two scientists back to thier original form.

    I think it was the D20 system. We decided on STNG. Yeah, it was fun... Steve wanted the group to try something easier to understand than D&D...

    Those are the two d20 Star Trek RPG’s I’ve heard of.

    It was Star Trek Adventures. I think it went pretty well so I will probably run it again at some point if anyone is interested.

    Stardate 20211029 - The crew of the Intrepid conclude thier first mission, leaving thier Trill Scientist with the other Scientists to continue thier studies. They travel on to a nearby class M planet. There they discover it is a desert planet protected by an energy field. They are not able to reliably transport down so they take a shuttle and investigate some structures that turn out to be some sort of defense system of crystal and obsidian pillars. Very old with some decayed areas but still mostly functional, shooting laser beams at flying objects. They find no humanoid life and will attempt to seek out the primary source of the beacon signal after resupplying at the ship.
