D&D Character Builder

I'm playing with the D&D Character Builder we installed on our PC. (Since WotC shut the online one down)
I notice many feats & power are not available that are from the Players Handbook 3.
Is it me or is everybody missing the PHB3 content?
Staple feats like Superior Will, Improved Defenses, Staff Expertise and so on.

I am missing all of those as well.

i have these all in my character builder. are you using the CBLoader.exe shortcut to start it?

No, I get an error when starting from shortcut.

What's in your shortcut? mine has:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Wizards of the Coast\Character Builder\CBLoader.exe" -d

If I run the character builder exe, i don't get many of the options and the PC is 'house ruled'.
If I run the shortcut it seems to work.

Yes, starting from the CBLoader - Shortcut is giving me an error.
In Properties, under Target,
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Wizards of the Coast\Character Builder\CBLoader.exe" -d


This pops up

Inner Exception: There is an error in XHL document (1, 1).
Inner Exception: Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1.
