    Kendo Nationals... Empty Kendo Nationals...

Post by Dwarmaj Sun Aug 14, 2011 5:58 am

Jorren just missed the medal rounds for individuals. Sad
He got 4th place (along with 3 others) out of the 43 Jr High competitors.

For team competition his team came in 3rd which earned him a bronze medal. cheers cheers cheers

The PNKF (Pacific Northwest Kendo Federation) Sensai's are very happy since 3 years ago they brought back 3 medals, this year they brought back 29.

Cool, and it was really fun attending Joren's Kendo promotion test the day after the last adventure. Had a tough time waking up, but it was worth it.

    Back home... for a week...

Nationals was a great experiance for myself and especially for Jorren. The first thing he did when he got home was to show his mom the medal then take a picture of it so that he could post it on his facebook page, kids these days... Smile

Going to be a busy week...
30th class reunion this week (would like to see Stu and Kevin there... Rolling Eyes )

Then off to DC with Challen.

I'm going to need a vacation from my vacations. Smile

Doesn't time itself seem like it's speeding up lately and that things are moving faster than they used to? I know I feel that way...

At least he got the order right!
