    To make a dice roll just click Post Reply on any existing post. Underneath the area where you type the message you'll see the Dice area. If you press the + sign it will add another Row of die type.

    Anything you type in the message will post before the Dice roll.

    Note: you must hit Post Reply to get the Dice Roller. If you use the Quick Reply it won't show.


    To test it feel free to Post Reply to this message.

    2d6 damage Add 5 to rolled damage result.

    You can, but it'll take away part of the benefit of using MapTools and customized tokens.

    It'll roll "to hit", damage, critical dice, and anything else that is needed.

    I'd prefer to have the DM roll.

    MapTools also creates a log that can be saved if need be.

    Concur. Once the tokens are built, it's pretty easy. I don't mind if players want to roll up their starting gold on it, but for the most part I plan on using the tokens. (They are pretty nice, once built)
