Re: Kendo
The tournament starts at ~9:30am. They usually start with the kids 9 and under.
Jorren will be in the 10-12 group and Challen in the 16-18 group.
Here's a link to the Bellevue Kendo Club http://www.kendo-pnw.org/bhs/bel/
It's not to far from Brad's place.

What Time Does It End?
...if we go to TKD class which ends at 11, how much Kendo will be left?

Re: Kendo
Kendo recap:
Both had a good day, though no trophies for Jorren today.
It's pretty funny watching Jorren. He's in a "moppy" stage and walks up slowly to get into position for his matches. Then when the judges signal "go" he moves pretty fast. He did very well in his team matches, but his team is pretty young at the moment (3 are in the 9 and under group) while team matches are for 15 and under.
Challen got knocked out of the individual matches by a Kent teammate (unlucky draw of opponants). But his team took 1st place.

Kendo
...I was watching both Kobe and my nephew Brian and neither wanted to go to the Kendo event although I did try to talk them into it.
Had a nice chat on Sunday with Doug Imanishi whose son has been taking Kendo for a couple years now. Doug is likely one of the best Kendo practitioners in this area and he says he knows of you (and your sons).

Re: Kendo
Hmm, when in Las Vegas last year I drove Brian Imanishi and his sister Taryn to and from the tournament. They're both really good and fun to watch compete.
I'm not sure if they're related as they practice in Tacoma (Cascade dojo)
