Buffyverse - Where do the PC's Live?

Okay, Brad mentioned that he wanted to know where each of the PC's live. I've searched the message boards and can't find the thread where the question is asked so I'll start a new one here.

Kenneday still lives at Candle Rock, her parents' estate. It's really big, has high security, including a wall, a gate, perimeter motion sensors, perimeter motion lights, perimeter and interior security cameras, an alarm system, her family's gun collection (remember, her father was a member of the local shooting club) and a garage full of cool vehicles (except the flatbed truck hasn't been fixed yet). Oh, and there are good, trustworthy servants and she knows the terrain.

If anyone wants to stay at the estate with Kenneday, you are welcome to. If due to geographic reasons, it is not possible to stay at the estate, Kenneday will see if she has any (wealthy) relatives that live close enough to the action that she can stay with.

That was in the recap of the last adventure. It also had a set up for the next. (So will this next recap.)

Most of the other PCs where relatively poor/orphaned by the vampire attackes.
How does Kenneday pay for the utilities, mortgage, property taxes, salary for the servents? An estate is a large asset that could be sold creating a wealth inbalance?

Yes, everyone's families were murdered by Vampires 4 years ago (when the campaign began). We'll say Kenneday's family worked for the Plasmafellers, the powerful Vampire coven co-controling world banking and grew up 'heiress rich' until her family was killed 4 years ago. Her family's 9 figure net worth was held up in court by Wolfram & Hart lawyers, partially given away to various charities, and mostly assigned by wills & trusts to various Plasmafeller holdings. As a 16 yo girl on the run from Vampire killers, she got jacked of most of her inheritance.

From it all, Kenneday did get her family LD vacation home (find a really, really nice house in LA), no staff, completely empty, taxes/utility bills piling up, and in trust to her until her 21st birthday (2d6 levels from now) on the provision that she proves mature enough to handle it's care. Otherwise, it falls into a gaurdianship of Wolfram & Hart.

Since it just may get attacked occasionally, anyone want to find a cool LA estate that you guys want to live in/defend? Otherwise it'll be 'generic mansion'...

Post Script: Kenneday notices that her Zodiac Slayer birthmark matches the Plasmafeller Vampire glyph. After the Queen's, this is the 2nd most powerful Coven.

For the vacation home, will rent it out to a suitable "single" person. The object will be just to negate utility costs and maintain the place. Oh, I'll attempt to find a renter that owns a relatively large (outside) dog.

I'll use a portion of my wealth to add an ordinary security system, alarm system, reinforced locks on all the doors and windows, and break resistant film on the most vulnerable windows. I'll also pay all outstanding bills on the place.

For the time being... Angelus will stay in a small appartment near or with another PC. He'd like a view of the beach with the surf shop that we're always battling around.

Trying to stay "under the radar" since buying a house/condo will leave a paper trail and the vampires seem to have control of the banks, police, and pretty much every other organization.

As far as a job, Angelus will take up "banking". He has a daily power that allows him to go insubstantial/phasing/fly/hover for up to 5 minutes. That should be more than enough time to go in (at night), take what he wants, then fly out. He'll make sure he wears a different style outfit for his "work" than what he wears out on the streets or during adventures. He'll make sure to take out or "jamm" any cameras in the area so that they won't know what hit them.
