GAME ON! Saturday the 17th 1700 hrs Newport Hills

Just got back from Mick's & planning the next Buffyverse adventure. We'll be ready not this weekend, but the weekend after. Friday's are best for Mick, but I just looked it up & I'm having dinner with my dad that evening of the 16th. When is good for everybody to play? We'll have 2 GMs so hopefully we can handle a larger party & still get a lot of encounters in. Note: Be ready with player actions 2x2 instead of one at a time...


Recapping last adventure, the Slayers met the secretive High Council of Vampires (more commonly known in occult circles as the "Plasmanatti") and negotiated a truce with them. The Slayers can dust any Vamps or Undead they want, including any member of the Aralius clan, as long as they don't dust any of the other 11 Council members' coven (of 20, who will all bear their Vampire clan's glyph), or make public displays of magic & their existence to the living at large, and the High Council & their covens promise to not interfere with the Slayers for 100 years.

They were very excited to meet you, especially Queen Akasha (looks like Allyah in "Queen of the Damned") because of what's said in the Myocene Prophesy. You all noticed even the other Council members are clearly afraid of the Queen...

The party is currently in Germany at a motel in a town near Castle Strahd (where the High Council is this moon) looking to get back to Los Diables where the Aralius coven is banished to...


Okay, what days look good for people?
Stuart - 16th evening Friday - Okay
17th - Saturday - Okay
23rd - Friday - Use my place, but I'll be late
24th - Okay

I believe any of those days work for me.

Brad texted me and says the game is a go for Saturday if we can get enough people. Come on, post if you can play!

The kids first baseball practices are in the early an late afternoon, so if you play during the day I can't make it. I want to meet the coaches and evaluate them to see how pedophilly they are.

PCs are now 16th level, but no, aside from Ember, who can make a few select items (of her level & lower), there are no 'magic stores' in the Buffyverse, just like the real one. <Also a good idea to keep an updated 'wishlist'...> Someone in the party might want to look into making a contact for other items...

Brad, I don't think you will need a co-DM if it's a small group.
We have people coming over to our house for dinner. This includes Damon & Scott.
By the posting you have Ross, Stu and Trevor. You don't need 2 DMs for 3-4 people.
Also, 23rd and 24th is very bad for me. We have birthday stuff for Nika both days.

Sure, maybe not 'need', but wanted... I liked the idea of trying 2 GMs with you. Did we want to try for this Fri (2 days from now)? You'd have to start the first encounter & I can be there around 8:00pm & we can co-GM from there... I'm meeting my dad from Vegas for dinner @ DeeAn's in Redmond, so I can leave by 7:30pm and get there just as the first encounter is winding down most likely. Mick, I can stop by tomorrow even with print outs of all the NPCs (not including yours, which we won't need in the first encounter) so you can look over everything in detail. If you, Damon, & Scott can play, that'd be 5 players & 2 GMs, plus Chris, Ken, Kevin have yet to reply...

Okay, I'll make a command decision. Saturday, 5:00 PM, Newport Hills. I spoke to Ken on the phone and he's 60% for either day but probably more likely Saturday (more notice). I spoke to Jeff on the phone, he's out for sure on Friday but might be able to make Saturday. Also, since we couldn't decide, I'm now likely out for Friday so that leaves Saturday for me.

I'll even fire up the grill and make either ribs or burgers, can you guys at least decide on that? Brad doesn't vote as he doesn't eat either any more.
