Battlefield 3 ships Fall 2011 -- includes jets, prone, and 64 player multiplayer!

Well, I think I'm pretty much done with the beta. I have no desire to keep playing Metro over and over again to grind unlocks that won't transfer over to retail.

Of course all this will change if Dice surprises us and puts Caspian Border servers back up. Then I will be playing on that map nonstop.

Yeah, I kind of agree, however, I haven't been playing as much as you yet, so will be playing a few more days as time permits.
I wish they would make the servers 32 on 32 to see how their hardware can handle the load.

Strike Force Black has 6 members now, and we went out and had a hell of a time last night.
So far our SFB Platoon has these members:

Just played a game of Caspian Border. It's Awesome. It reminds me of Dragon Valley from BF2.

That's awesome you got to play Caspian. I'll have to try it out if the game will still work. I had to install a video driver hotfix for a different game, not sure if it will still work with BF3 or not.

It was a great map.
We: Ross, David, Chris L. and I played about 8 rounds of Caspian.
I think most of the time we were on the same team be never all on the same squad.

Ah man that was great. Caspian is how Battlefield should be.

After I got home last night I found a hybrid driver that has the hotfix I need and still supports BF3, so I stayed up way too late and played on Caspian four hours straight.

I'll be around today this time too.

Awesome to finally hear the full Battlefield main theme in that latest trailer.

And I am pre-ordered, pre-loaded, and just waiting for the game to unlock now.

Also, check out all the damage that had been done to the building at the square. The whole side of the building to destroyed, probably by the tank.
