Old Character Builder is showing it's age

Just an FYI, the version of the Character Builder you all have gets more out of date every week. You might want to consider getting a subscription. I its too much for you maybe some of you can share an account since it's all web based now.

It's been really stable for me after the first couple of weeks of it's release. Plus access to the compendium is great for optimizing. You can do searches for keywords to find just the right Feat, Item or Power. That's one of the reasons Shedar I can teleport 13 squares is I just looks up everything with teleport in the name or description. You also get access to Dragon, which has lots of great articles, as well as Dungeon for DMs.

I bought a year subsription (with my FFL Superbowl winnings...).

Access to the Compendium is nice, but I like the format of the old character builder better. Being able to use the old one off-line at work is nice. I can't use the new one at work since WotC is a blocked site (unless I remote into my home PC).

I think they may have some mobile apps coming for it, at least for Tablets, but if they work for those it should work for smart phones hopefully.

The compendium works fine on my blackberry touch.
