On the stairs...

The party has completed their extended rest and Miri created two items.

What does the party want to do next?

...proceed up the stairs, right? Thia in front checking for traps, Kaddim and Candelos backing her up, Miri safe in the center and Sonya guarding Miri's back.

I want to check for traps on the next set of stairs. As a note as well I will ask (or have Kaddim ask) the gargoyles if there are any more traps on the stairs and if so how to disable them.

I will also ask whats next up the stairs and if we should enable the traps again behind us to help the gargoyles if they need it.

The gargoyles tell Kaddim that only the first two sets of stairs are trapped. They will re-enable them once the party leaves.

The gargoyles do not know what is up the stairs.

Then I will proceed cautiously up the stairs.

...with Thia's agreement, if we come to a doorway at the top of the stairs and the door is closed, Sonya recommends we listen (or have Thia listen with several of us aiding her by being quiet). Check the door for traps, attempt to unlock it, or just bust it in. Regardless if we enter the next room or hallway at the top of the stairs by force or not, the two Defenders should enter first, then Sonya (to provide flanking, healing, and additional fighting power), then Thia (to take up a good post from which to shoot from) and finally Miri (well protected to launch spells).
