Can you check the WiFi settings on your router? Can you see if it's setup to provide IP Addresses?

When my laptop wasn't working at your place I had to configure my laptop to have a static IP to get it to work on your network.

Just a thought as to why some are having a difficult time connecting.

...okay, I'll admit I don't know how to check for that...

Do you have a LinkSys router?

The following link is for DVR, but the LinkSys setup would be the same for setting up DHCP:

Here's a link to a page that shows how to setup your D-LINK router for DHCP.
    http://support.dlink.com/emulators/wbr2310/lan.htm

Once you remember the password, all you should have to do is navigate to the Network Settings page and hit the checkbox to enable DHCP Server. If it's already set then you may have other issues...

If you can't remember your password, there is usually a hard reset button that will put the device back into "factory default" mode.

I verified last night that the server is not handing out IP addresses to PCs that connect. I was able to set static IPs on several laptops and all were then able to reach the internet.

    Note:
Resetting the router may cause you to go back to all other devices and set them up again. If they were setup with static IPs and the router is now handing out IPs then you could run into problems if two or more have the same IP Address.

Would be much easier if you could remember your password. You might want to write it down on the router itself.
