Talked to Damon & Scott today. Sounds like they had a fun time.

I have seen multiple ways of handling large parties and the way we did it on Friday seems to work the best. The largest I have seen to date is 16 and to make that work we had two DM's break apart the group to make parties of 8.

The tips that we have used all along to speed up the game still apply to the larger parties.

Know what you are going to do before it is your turn. The only time this shouldn't apply is when the battlefield changes drastically on the turn just before yours.
If all you are going to do is attack, and don't need input from the DM, roll the dice during the turn before yours. You can even roll damage before hand just in case.
