Okay, for the next D&D adventure, when in September is good?
I'm booked I think for this Friday (weapons class) and Saturday. What about the rest of the month? Also, if someone else is going to take a shot on DM'ing on the new table, who wants to try?

Yes. Was aiming for Saturday to do something as I have class until 8:00 Friday night. I aiming for either poker or D&D on Saturday night.

I am heading to Idaho this weekend starting early Sat so I am out the entire weekend.

damn, damn... looks like people can't play. I'm free this weekend or 3 from now.

I want to run the 12th level Buffyverse adventure... I have a full size map of Sarak's old compound & under the grid of Stu's new table, I think the asylum will 'just so happen' to have a similar blueprint. Adding the outside grounds too we can really see what a really big board is like to play on. (The compound is close to as big as we normally play on.)

Homicide detective Kate Lockley (the one who helped the Slayers in custody & also helped escape) did what any caring sister would do when pressured by doctors to commit her sister ("for her own good") when she 'had a breakdown' and started telling everyone about Vampires & magic at the casino massacre. She kept saying the official story of occultist teenagers setting a fire that killed dozens was a lie.

Her sister was reported to have escaped the asylum, the first one ever, but Kate suspects foul play, especially since what she's learned about the Slayers. Because she's "too close" her capt ordered her to stay away from her sister's case. ...but she can get papers for the Slayers to get inside the secure compound either as patients or orderlies, or you Slayers can come up with your own infiltration.

Mission: Find out what happened to her science teacher sister, the one you guys saved from the floating brain et al, (if applicable) bring 'justice' to her killer, optionally slay as many Vamps as appropriate considering you'd be inside an enemy stronghold.

I can play, as always.

Hey, for Saturday, we have Trevor, Ibuki, Brad, and Stuart. Really, we only need one more for a game.

I'm out of town right now so we can't check our calendar, but I know Saturday afternoon I'm playing Whirlyball that DeeAn setup. She has more room if anyone is interested.

I think I have Saturday evening free if you play then.

Okay, that's four players. I'm saying Game On! Brad DM'ing 12th level PC's. Ibuki, Stuart, Trevor, and Ross playing. Kevin still a possibility. If we need another, there's this 11 year old (yeah, not 10 anymore) who'll likely be hanging around the game table.

I'm saying 6:00 PM then...to give Ross some time to make it from the WB game.

Crap. I forgot about that. No one has
made any contacts yet to get magic except through Ember, but we'll say in your 'extra curricular' activities, you managed to aquire $20,000 cash. (A particularly good haul after your fence takes his cut, except for when you brought him the 2 Farraris.)

If you didn't play, and have a 'legit' occupation, we'll make up something else that gives you the same cash & fits the story...

Talked to my sis & the whirlyball game is from 12-3.

Anyway, Stu, will you be home say & hour before we start so we can take our time & set up a big tabletop?

Yeah, I'll make sure I'm home by 4 (two hours early) for people that have to either set up the table or for people who need to take an early ferry boat.

I was supposed to go to the fair with my sister, but it looks like she'll be working.

Alright, I couldn't find my large map of Sarak's old complex, but I did find another big map I made for Jalalabrad (6 8x11 sheets of paper large) that I think may work out even better, so all is good. On the waterfront.


Det. Kate Lockley: Thank you guys so much for helping me find out what happened to my sister. I've been to 'the Zarovich House for the Mentally Insane' too often visiting my sister and they're watching me too closely now. I know they're hiding what really happened to her and I need to know.

My captain's ordered me to stay away from the case, so I can't officially accompany you guys or assist with officers, but let me know what I can do to help. Also, Good Luck!!
