In the middle of working out college financial stuff and ran across this artical Ant vs Grasshopper

Seems odd, but in a lot of cases, people who save for college are penalized.

So the smart thing to do would be to move the savings to a secret off shore account.

I had savings bonds for the kids education when I first started to work at the bank at 18-years old. Was just anticipating that eventually I'd have kids.
