For now, just what you currently have. I mostly need feat choices and power choices. Updating for one or two items only takes a minute or two.

I've started creating a new token and noticed that the damage for your level 1 PC token is incorrect. It's not taking into account your feat that lets you add your Str bonus to elemental damage. (for Scorching Burst it lists 1d6+6 instead of the 1d6+12 you should be doing).

I'll update your level 6 token, but you'll probably want to list your damage for your attacks so that Brad can make sure things are calculated correctly.

I don't know if you have the last Character Builder update, but Wizards Escape is a Daily power (was originaly an encounter power). Wasn't sure if you wanted to keep it if it's a daily power...

Is there a summary feature in the new character builder?

Buffyverse flavor thing...

All the PCs just so happen to either have a permanent childhood scar of some sort, or a birthmark, somewhere on their person in the uncanny shape of one of the 12 Zodiac symbols.

Please also decide where, how big, scar or birthmark, and also which symbol you want (players can decide all the above, but must have the mark somewhere, and everyone must choose a different Zodiac symbol). If you can add on your character sheet info about your Zodiac mark, that'd be great since I plan on working that into the storyline. Thanks!

Did you have a specific collection of zodiac symbols in mind?

They change slightly over the years.

No, there is no export or summary in the new Character Builder as far as I know.

If you still have the old one you can build your character with that and edit the summary when complete (if needed).

No summary feature yet. Hoping they will have one soon though. With the export feature I'm sure someone will come up with one if WOTC doesn't.

Oh, I guess there is an Export...

You should be able to use the export in the old Character Builder. Any new powers/feats won't show up, but you should be able to edit the summary.

As far as background, you can be sleeping in the car this first day, still in shock that your entire family was just murdered, a late bloomer compared to the rest; or you could be raised by a Toknosfar parent living and fighting a covert war against the Undead ever since you could walk & run; or you could make up something else that fits the storyline.

Anyway, also remember to pick & describe your Zodiac mark. Blade & Ashe, I also need your Zodiac info... I'm going to be using a few of the others, so I need to know which ones you all want first.

I wanted to create a token for it.

Not sure how things are going to turn out now...

It takes a couple of hours to create a Maptools token and I wanted to get a head start so that the delay between the 1st level adventure and the 6th wouldn't be dependent on me creating the tokens.

I have everyone elses... 90% done.

Power selection is the most time consuming. I have to create the macros and copy in descriptions from the compendium.

If all/most of the PCs die in the first level one we may have to create totally different PCs for the 6th level sessions. Not sure how Brad is going to handle PC deaths yet...

Yeah, I'm cool with that as long as it's an exception and doesn't become a rule. Go ahead & swap it out.

Speaking of items, while you guys are working out the "off stage" stuff (that we're skipping role playing out in adventures), please also post updated wishlists of items. Include mostly <=10th level items, & 1 item of 12th or 13th. I'm awarding much higher than usual magic items since we're skipping to 6th, then skipping again to 11th, so wishlists will need to return to normal levels when we start roleplaying in person...

Note: Unlike this last adventure where the items were found as unused treasure, future adventures will have more magic wielding Vamps, and when a Vamp is dusted, his clothes & carried items dust with him. In other words, you'll have to use some strategy in future encounters or else destroy most of your future treasure...

Post Script: Just a reminder (since it seems like it was forgotten during this last encounter), my concept for the Buffyverse is a Paragon level campaign. In other words, for 6th level too, there will be opportunities to TPK ourselves if our only strategy is to stand toe to toe in every encounter. We're still in the early years of the Slayers destiny, so you're all still budding superheroes...

Hmm, this is going to make it very difficult for PCs that are heavy on Radiant or Fire attacks.

If you drop a vampire below zero with a Radiant or Fire attack, can you choose not to dust them?

Since we're not usually going to know which have magic items and which don't we'll have to subdue any encountered which will clutter the battle maps...

Since they are able to walk and talk while dead they could just start walking off. They could just pull out a cell phone and relay info on us or even worse... dust themselves.

Not much we can do to them other than dust them.

Is there a better way to handle this?

Why not just have magic items non-dustable when a vampire is dusted? They are magic after all...

It'll make things moderately more challenging, but hardly 'very difficult'. You guys play well enough to recognize when an NPC is close to falling.

True, but you'll have hints. Did anyone think the sword Mr Mui had wasn't magical? (It was...) Clue: It'll usually be the bosses that have the best items...

Hmm, not sure how you want to handle this (or if it is even an issue...), but there are no items of level 11-13 that my PC can use. There are however a lot of items on my wish list of level 6 or less.

A level 12 item is worth 13k, a level 13 is worth 17k.

All items on my wish list of level 10 or less (9 items) total 16,680gp, less than one 13th level item.

Can we buy magic items or can we only get them by finding them.

I'll try to make sure things are in the ballpark of even. A plain, +3 item is 11th, which any PC can use.

True, but there are different levels of usefulness...

My character has a +2 Blurred Strike Ki Focus. He'd use it even if a +5 Magic Ki Focus was available to him.

In a lot of cases the properties are as (or more) important as the enhancement bonus.

There are no magic item stores for 1,000 years, so only if you find them. The Slayers do know that the Vampires are still crafting items, so sometime after we're Paragon level, you may eventually make a 'black market' contact, or one of you can craft/brew items & potions. Yes, and that's also the only 10th level item in the campaign. Right now you and Ashe are the most magic heavy in the party, but I wanted everyone to have a +2 weapon, and I wanted the heirloom item to be 'extra'.

Since no new magic items have been found since I last made the tokens, the following tokens are ready:

Getting ready to make a second pass at the tokens and noticed that you wanted to switch staves.

Mindwarp Staff only gives the bonus damage for psychic powers and Ember doesn't have any.

Dual Implement Spellcaster only works if you have two magic implements. Ember currently only has one... Not sure if that is one of the feats you're thinking of swapping out.

If PCs are going to have Ember make items before the next adventure let me know.

I'm adding encounter and daily item buttons to the PC tokens to better help Brad keep track of what the items do and what's been used. Each item button displays what happens when the item is used and the type of action it requires (copied the text from the compendium).

I'm not adding At-Will uses or properties unless they are always active.

Brad, if you need new maps for the 6th level encounters let me know.

If you do, give me a general idea of the type of map I'll see if I can find something.

We're also waiting on "off stage" plans for Ashe & Telgarth. (Looks like Ashe is teaming with Giles, Telgarth with Vala, Blade with Selena, & Angelus with Ember.

I posted my off stage plans in the thread. I will repost here as well.

For money Ashe will start contracting doing computer work mainly in the programming, data, and business analyst functions. Ashe is very charismatic and will use Giles and Vala's contacts to get contracts. Because most of that type of work is transitory but pays well (anywhere from $100 to $250 an hour depending on the need) it should give him some extra cash and the flexibility to hunt for family members when he needs to. It also keeps him on a very low profile since most of those types of contracts are recorded as contract work or under company names and not with the person themselves so there is no data trail.

For hunting down family members and dusting them I agree that it should be in a group if possible but if it needs to be done as a duo then I can go with Telgarth. For my family if it is a group and I don't get to go after them I will tell them to start with coaches and teachers since I was very active in the kids sports community. Next would be parents of friends that were always at the games with my parents and long time friends many of whom are the same people.

Note:
When you turn a power into radiant that isn't already radiant, you'll need to let Brad know that you do +1 point more damage. I'm not able to easily do that in the token.

Blade will make his living as a thief, since my skills and abilities lean towards it.
I will attempt to steal from criminals and small time vamps to stay off the radar of local law enforcement. Will wear a mask during 'jobs', and will case each location for a week before hitting it.
While doing this I will attempt to make underword contacts.
