    We need to concentrate firepower on the same target. Candelos & Sonya can pretty much only attack the Red Giant, and Thia is the only one that can reach the skulls or Kavarakos. The cloud should force the skulls to move into our range and in the mean time, I say we focus on the Red Giant.

    OK, Thia will switch targets to the red giant.

    New turn:

    Move: shift 1W
    Minor: HQ - Closest is now the red skeleton since I can't see the other one
    Standard: Twin Strike Red giant (Will save my most damaging ones for the skulls since it is only Miri and I that can attack decently.

    This room is huge and most of Miri's powers are range 10. I need to be able to get to the middle of the room or so to be in range if they don't move closer to us. :-(

    Lightning Strider on the one to my SE, pull him adjacent to me and then mark him. If I can use a move action to attempt to escape I'll try, otherwise I'll just stay where I'm at.

    Assuming you mean Lighting Lure since you mentioned pulling the target...


    Kaddim's turn:
    Standard: use Lightning Lure on the red skeleton (provoking an AoO from the green one)

    AoO 29 vs Ac hits for 16hp of damage.

    Lightning Lure 19 vs Fort miss

    Move: Attempt to break the grab using an Athletics check
    Athletics 24 vs Fort success, you can shift 1 square as a free action if you like


    Skeletons and Karavakos will be next...

    AP - Standard - Bastion of Def on Red Skeleton to try to finish him and give all my allies + 1 to all defences for the rest of the encounter and everyone gains 10 temporary hits.
    Move Action - depends on if the Red Skeleton is down.
    If he's down, Go, N, NE, NE, E.
    If he's still up shift NE.

    Yeah, might as well as I think this'll be a tough encounter, so getting to use a surge is more important than saving them. Sucks to waste 1/2 the healing though...

    Hmm, I don't think you can knock someone prone that is not within your range. Will have to research...

    Minor use Rousing Words on self. Sonya spends 2 healing surges and gains back 32+10hp

    Standard: use Second Wind, Sonya spends a healing surge and regains back 16hp.

    Sonya is currently at 66/66hp with 6/9 surges

    Hmmm...good point, it is a "Recoil Shield" and I suppose the energy of the blow is reflected back into the enemy via the shield through his weapon, knocking him prone. I can see it the other way too where I have to "hit" the enemy with the shield.

    Sorry, I'm going to rule that you need to be adjacent to the opponent.

    The flavor text says:
    "This unassiming shield takes on surprising heft when you want to knock a foe flat."

    The power says:
    Use this power when a melee attack hits you. The attacker is knocked prone.


    The flavor text seems to indicate that you're using the shield to knock them prone.

    If it's 20' up from Kaddim, then it is still four squares away from you as you move up the diaganol. If the skeletons are 10' tall (i.e. two squares high) then there is a single empty square between the top of the skeleton and the green skull. As such, something with a Burst 1 would get them both.

    Oh, didn't see it until now...

    On Candelos' turn he moved adjacent to a pillar, which makes a grab attack on him.
    Pillar grab 29 vs Ac hits for 11-5hp of necrotic damage. Candelos is grabbed.

    I'd think you'd need burst 2 in this scenario...

    The Skeletons would be in the vertical squares (0'-5') & (5'-10'). You'd have to center the spell in the next vertical square which would be the (10'-15') square. If the skulls are 20' up, that's actually the vertical square (20'-25'), so the (15'-20') square would be the adjacent square the the center of the power.

    I'm actually talking about this post specifically. Karavakos has me grabbed, not Candelos, so was that damage meant for me or him? or is Karavakos in control of the Bone Columns as well?
