    <That thing has much less hits than I thought judging by how far its bar moved from just 1 hit... which means the Humanoids coming are probably tougher than I thought...>

    Okay, home now and can see the map. Might as well strike at the big monster while it is down.

    Well if your defenses wouldn't hold then Sonya's certainly wouldn't. Let's take down the Grick first, when worry about the next creature(s).

    edit: I just thought of something... could I have zig-zagged the WoF to stretch all the way down the hall? Damage is either in or adjacent...

    Too late for this battle, but good to know.

    From the north Miri sees a creature that looks like a large dinosaur but with no eyes. The creature moves north of Miri into Thia's view and she takes her shot (at -2 due to cover).

    Thia's readied action:

    The Destrachan howls (blast 5)

    The 17 was your roll (4) plus normal modifiers (13). Then you got +2 for it being prone and +1 for charging for a total of +20. You just missed...

    Use Dimensional thunder to attack the Robed figure, and Teleport to the open spot South of the Destrachan, and infect the enemies around me with ongoing Thunder Damage 5.
    Free action: Say, everyone keep concentrating on the Grick until it's dead. We are in good defensive positions now.

    Move: Attempt to break the grab. I wasn't sure which skill you wanted to use Athletics (+6) vs Fort or Acrobatics (+4) vs Ref.

    Since you didn't say I'm assuming Athletics since you have a higher number...

    Athletics 19+6=25 success. Candelos breaks free of the grab.

    At the end of Candelos' turn he rolls a 13 and is no longer dazed.

    Pretty busy here so I'd better go now.
    Standard Action:
    If there's anyone that's still dazed that I have LoE to, I'd do Inspiring War Cry.
    If not IWC, then I'd do Hammer and Anvil and give Candelos a free attack against the Grick.
    Minor Action: If there's anyone that is dazed and needs a heal, I use a IW with Saving Inspiration and give them a surge and instead of 2d6 extra hits, let them make a save. If there's no one that can use the save, but there's someone that is down enough hits that they can use a surge + 10, then I'll use a regular IW on them with the person who can most fully use the IW getting priority.
    Move Action: If there's a second person that's really wounded, I might use another IW, but I don't think I need to yet.

    ...no, don't drop the wall yet. Gives us one less front we have to fight on. If you drop it, surely the monsters will have anticipated that and be ready to charge in. Better to force them to come around and then at our option, drop the wall if we need to fall back down that hall to the south.
