Move Action; none, although I'd like to see the party's conditions. I think Sonya's the worst off and Thia is the only one with a condition on her. Nothing this round I think.

Sonya's turn (cont):
Standard: use Hammer and Anvil on HoM
H&A 29 vs Ref hits for 10hp of damage.

Kaddim gets a MBA with +5 damage. MBA 31 vs Ac hits for 12+5hp of damage.

The nodule looks to be hanging on by a thread...




Current PC status:
Sonya 30/66hp with 9/9 surges
Kaddim 46/79hp with 11/11 surges
Candelos 55/78hp with 14/14 surges
Thia 42/65hp with 7/7 surges (dazed)
Miri 45/58hp with 9/9 surges (added the 9hp for the action point)


Currently Thia's turn...
At the start of Thia's turn she takes 5hhp of acid damage.

I'll go ahead and use an IW w Saving Inspiration on Thia. I'll let Thia choose to either make a save vs the Dazed or to get the extra hit points back and get the most out of her surges.

Hit points for sure.

Thia will use two fanged strike (unless I already used it, then biting volley but I believe I used biting volley before).

Save vs dazed.

Sonya's turn (cont):
Move: use a Minor action to use Inspiring Word on Thia to heal 16+11hp of damage. Thia is currently at 65/65hp with 6/7 surges.

Thia's turn:
At the start of Thia's turn she takes 5hp of acid damage.
Standard: use Biting Volley on the HoM (TFS was already used)
BV #1 25 vs Ref hits for 12hp of damage. The HoM is destroyed and the acid in the area quickly dissapates.

The nodule breaks apart and several things fall to the floor.
1. A dead creature that looks like an overgrown brain with tentacles growing from its base.
2. A metal rod (magical)
3. A large gem (magical)
4. A headband of some type (magical)


At the end of Thia's turn she rolls a 14 and is no longer dazed.

Miri and/or Kaddim are able to identify the items.
They are:
Gem - Siberys shard of the Mage (paragon)
Headband of Intellect (heroic)
Rod of Mindbending +2

Yay! our first Paragon item! Miri likes all 3, and doesn't even know what 2 of them do yet! :-)

Shall we go after that Eladerin witch next? (after we assign these goodies...)

Well guys, if we head back to see Breeze, do we go in guns a blazing or to "talk"? Man, I'm with Mickey, we've barely been defeating the encounters on Level 2, our tactics aren't THAT bad are they? I mean, even with decent tactics and at least average luck, we've almost gotten wiped out a couple times.
Finish Level 2 is my vote if there's anywhere left to go and if not, then we can try Level 3.

Didn't we leave Sahaguin & Treants somewhere on level 1? Maybe we have to go back down there anyway to kill Korovorkas 2 more times...
If we can't go back down, I say we go up. I really want to craft some ice protection items before we take on Breeze. I don't think I can play nice with that witch... I hate that chicka!

Sonya can't use the rod or headband at all. Although she can use the shard, it would be far better to have Thia, Candelos or Kaddim use it.

Candelos can't use his weapon as a implement.
Best bet is Kaddim.

I say we assign everything we can use, and dust everything else, right away. It's not like we've been breezing through these encounters, so we can use any help we have available. What else do we have to assign/dust?
