I've never believed in prophesies. That would suggest there's some kind of divine plan to things and I couldn't imagine what sort of plan would include the the abject slavery of the Eloi (Moon people) as feeding stock for the blood suckers. That was before I was rescued by the prophesied Slayers... Their might changed my mind.

After using the coin, top, & hook peices of the portal artifact they acquired, Kenneday and the other Slayers teleported to the outer surface of the Moon to find half a dozen Vampires (14th) gaurding the other end of the portal. They would have had an easy time of the gaurds caught unaware, except for none of them were wearing space suits (-10/rnd 'space damage' + -5/rnd additional damage if open eyes). Only the android Aya, with her positronic eyes and no need to breath was unaffected by the vaccuum of space. Even Aya had to get used to the substantially lower gravity of the Moon though... (think: "John Carpenter of Mars")

After that easy battle, save of course for the lack of atmosphere, they claim to have been guided to a hidden elevator to the interior by a large Bone Nage with the head of a (live) Tiefling. The Eloi have mythology about such a creature, as apparently do our Earth cousins, but I've never met anyone who's actually seen him, let alone met and talked to him though. The elevator brought them from the airless surface into the interior and atmosphere of our prison, to open 100' above the platforms below where we live. Several Slayers flew or feather falled the distance, with Kenneday simply jumping trusting her acrobatics and the Moon's lower gravity to nerf her fall (which 'mostly' worked), before Ember simply opened a portal to bridge the distance.

That's where they met me, having snuck just beyond the boundries of the wall vowing revenge on the blood suckers that just fed on my neck. Shocked to see non-Eloi clothed (only the Vampires are allowed garments), at first I thought I was about to be executed for being out of bounds, but instead the group ambushed a small group of Vampires (6 14th level) and saved my life!

The Slayers claim that Ashe's sword can actually talk to them telepathically, and the Buffy sword became very excited after my rescue, feeling destiny calling. Buffy told them that she needed to get to the center of the space station to reprogram the mind control broadcast used to keep the Earth cousins unaware of their magical abilities. This is where I proved useful to the powerful Slayers, as I helped them sneak past the many Vampires and into an electic car that took us in. For some reason, most of the Slayers were shy about 'dressing' as the Eloi, except Kenneday who seemed perfectly natural in the buff. One of the Slayers was actually one of the blood suckers though (Blade) and remained dressed as the enemy. I don't trust him, but I'm told he's only 1/2 Vampire, whatever that means...

Once to the central system of the Moon, Ashe was able to utilize his computer wizardry to hack the computer and discovered a subliminal message repeatedly broadcast to Earth saying, "Magic and monsters are myth. Obey authority", and a smaller broadcast to the Eloi saying simply, "Obey authority". Sacrificing the power of the artifact sword, after much debate on what to do, Ashe reprogrammed the message to "Magic and monsters are real. Challenge authority" and "Challenge authority" to the Earth & Eloi respectively. The final words of the Buffy sword assured them that this message couldn't easily be reprogrammed back by the blood suckers.

After sneaking back into the electric car and back to the elevator, the Slayers debated how best to rescue me to Earth and survive the short for them trek through the vaccuum of space to the Earth portal. I barely made it.

After spending a couple weeks under the care of Kenneday's medical department, their rituals are readjusting my body to withstand the new gravity now. (I couldn't barely move under the weight of my own body originally...)

I'm a believer in prophesy now and can't hardly wait to see what the powerful Slayers do next!

    -Mara, first rescued Eloi

I thought we also put in a subliminal message about selling stock or buying real assets or something, in an effort to hurt some of the Big Business Vamp clans.

Could have. I waited too long to write this recap to remember a lot of details beyond the basic story line I had planned. Refresh my memory and add what you remember... I am working on the intro to the next adventure to be up soon...
