    Before we leave, Sonya will ask Breeze if there are any specific items that the Dragon desires so that if we happen to come across such in the future, we might be able to negotiate an exchange.

    Breeze to Sonya,
    A necklace that protect one from fire. A white dragon can always use fire resistance you know...

    Yeah Thia would buy them at half price. I know she doesn't have any footwear and those would be very helpful to her build.

    Cost of a Throwing Shield - it's a 6th Level Item
    Yep, gotta admit, it is pretty darn handy to always have a ranged attack ready where I don't even have to pull out a weapon and it is strength based rather than dexterity based.
    If I had it to do all over again, I'd consider a new Str based Archer Warlord who can also melee.

    A throwing shield for Candelos will help the party a lot, I think.
    Kaddim can use the +2 anything weapon we found for now.
    I believe we still have +3 hide armor that we didn't dust and Miri can transfer the +3 to any other type of armor Kaddim wants.

    For the 3rd item she can make, I say we pool our funds and make something one of us wants, but Kaddim can use until we get his equipment back. What should the 3rd item be?

    I think full up, prepared, and with more items, we can take both the Eladrins and then with a 5 min rest take the Dragon. Breeze took his stuff, we want it back, we want the rest of her treasure, and Miri really wants to battle Breeze's witch again... I say we re-engage in the morning! Can anyone make potions of cold resistance?

    Maybe we should see what they want. They may be interested in leave with us and may join us in fighting the dragon.
    If they're here to fight, let them in. Better to fight in here where there's no icy ground to give them the advantage.

    Yep, I say see what they want. Im sure it is going to be imperious.

    Give Kaddim the +2 flaming weapon for now so he has something to fight with.

    One of the knights knocks on the door. He tells the party that you have five minutes to clear out. If you'd like to speak with Breeze again they'll escort you, but otherwise you'll need to leave their quarters/area.

    Sonya has the + 2 Bastard Acid Sword she doesn't really need. Also, if Candelos wants to borrow my shield for now, he can if he will loan me a regular shield. Kaddim can also borrow Sonya's +1 hand axe if Kaddim thinks there's any chance he'll use it, otherwise Sonya will hold onto it for her back up melee and back up archery weapon.

    The stairs might work with the gargoyles as guards. It seemed decent the last time.

    From the Compendium:

    Healing the Dying
    When you are dying, any healing restores you to at least 1 hit point. If someone has stabilized you using the Heal skill but you receive no healing, you regain hit points after an extended rest.

    We did. Breeze didn't seem keen on ever leaving her lair, and didn't seem like she'd care where 'lesser beings' slept. At least not enough to leave her lair and kick us out. "Escort us back to Breeze" is a semi-bluff, imo. Would she really leave her treasure unguarded because her minions have to sleep on the floor? She didn't bat an eye over the fact that we killed 2/3 of them...

    Miri's down for staying here until we rest, and fighting the Eladrins in their non-icy bedrooms, should they choose to come in and kick us out.

    Problem is we didn't down a single one of them and they are all back to a decent amount of hits.

    We did down the minions but I don't believe any of those were actually alive. When dead they turned into pools of water.

    The advantage is we would be on non icy terrain but they can teleport us into non icy terrain.

    ...I'm for finding somewhere, getting an extended rest, and then coming back here and wait for them to come kick us out (again) and then finish the Eladrin off and then take on the dragon. Won't say this so the Eladrin can hear of course.

    Monsters don't get hits back until they extended rest, usually. And most can't access their only surge. They're weak too until they extended rest, same as us.

    Regarding their teleport power, they'll need LOS, so it won't be easy to get us all on the ice. The minions were probably summoned, but probably a daily power, so we'll face them again after an extended rest.

    I have a daily left, (flaming sphere), and all my encounter powers back. If they challenge us today, I like our chances. If we challenge them tomorrow, they'll have their minions to summon again, and we'll still have to cross the icy room to get back here.

    Normally yes, but the knights looked a lot healthier when you saw them in the dragon lair. The caster looked full up...

    True the caster's teleport power does need LOS, but she doesn't have to get the whole party onto the ice...


    An eladrin comes back to the door after about 5min and says:

    I replied to this post 'yes', but I was thinking "EladrinS' bedroom", not "Eladrin'S bedroom", thinking there are 5 of us so take the room with 3 beds vs. 1.

    I'm fine either way, I was thinking more for roleplaying flavor than strategy.

    Bah! We know their tricks now, and have better terrain to battle.

    (Unless someone thinks differently) put everyone along the West edge of the room, with Candelos, Kaddim, & Sonya 1 square more East of Miri & Thia. That way, they have to come fully into the room to have LOS on us.

    If Candelos moved 1E then he can see the eastern section of the north door. 2E, then he can see both the NW and NE sections of the door.

    I don't think it's important we see them enter the room, as it is that we draw them inside. What does everyone else think?

    Yes. Actually i think it's better if we let a couple get in the room and then close the door so we can take them out without access to all of their damage shielding features. I will be diagonal from the door that we suspect they will come into. Maybe someone can be near a bed or a chest, or other container, and ask if we can have this, and point into it. That should lure one or two into the room, then I can close the door and we can start hacking.

    Which door does Kaddim wish to be next to? The north or the east door?

    Anyone else want to be in a different position?

    I had Kaddim use one more surge, he's currently at 76/79hp with 4/11 surges.

    I currently have Kaddim using the +2 flaming sword (longsword) and not wearing armor.

    Put Sonya by the north door to, on the other side of the door way from Kaddim and a little bit futher away from the actual door opening so that someone opening the door could not immediately see Sonya w/o entering the room.

    The door to the north is a double door.

    Kaddim is currently behind the NW section. If the NW section is opened, Kaddim will be behind the door and they can see anyone behind the NE section.

    If they open the NE section, they will see Kaddim and won't be able to see anyone behind the NE section of the door.

    Does Sonya want to be right behind the door or one square back? The only way you'll be out of sight when the door is opened is if you're around the corner to the west or east.

    Yes, the East door (at least was) barricaded with a bed & stuff, plus spiked shut from the outside. Although we can't see if they unbaricaded the East door, we should be able to tell if they pull out the spikes holding it shut.

    Kaddim is not proficient with hide armor. If he wears the armor he'll have a -2 penalty to attack rolls and to Ref defense.

    If being behing the NE corner is still within 5 squares of the door, then you can place Sonya around the corner. If around the corner would be too far for me to get to the doorway to attack in a single move action (remember, I can't cut the corner), then place Sonya 1 square back from the door (I'll even try to hide along the wall).
