....hmmm I was thinking of using it as an additional avenue of attack, perhaps allowing a way to come at them from an unsuspecting direction. If a dragon comes in the front, it can also be an escape route.

Sonya's turn:
Move: Sonya moves adjacent to the east door
Standard: Sonya begins hacking at the door with her axe

Thia tells Sonya to wait and they are now discussing whether or not the door should come down...

Caster's turn:
Standard: Cast Winter Winds on Kaddim
WW 20 vs Ref hits for 10hp of damage. Kaddim is teleported east (2E 1SE).

Move: the caster teleports east into the NE room. She is currently 5 squares east of Kaddim. Kaddim and Candelos can just barely see her.

Kaddim's turn:
Kaddim starts in ice terrain...
Icy Terrain 15 vs Ref miss, Kaddim does not fall prone. (I'll post a new map when I get home...)

Thia has a shot at the yellow knight, but he'll have superior cover since you're shooting through two doorways and a wall is blocking more than half of the token.

I had to re-read the rule for extended rests in 4.0.

Does Thia have an item power action? I know I used my armor in the mangler fight but since then we have had two short rests.

If I do have an item action, I will use my bracers to ignore cover and biting volley (score crit on 18 -20)

So:
Minor: HQ the yellow knight
Move as a minor: Use Bracers
Standard: Biting Volley

Your token shows that you've used your Serpent Skin armor. But since you've had one milestone you should have another daily item usage.

Hmm, I highly doubt Thia would have though resting here would be a good idea then since it is hazardous. Thia has a 90% chance of failure on the endurance check.

The knight Kaddim can see moves east.

Kaddim thinks he did a move and a move. You can hear others moving east as well...





Candelos' turn...
There are no enemies in sight (well Candelos can see a small corner of the caster's square 9 squares away. Would be a tough shot with a ranged attack.

The eladrins will go back to the dragon lair.

If the PCs want to pursue, let me know...

You may rest in the eladrin rooms, but may suffer from the cold.

Or you can try resting in one of the other locations cleared.

I say we change locations just to throw them off (we could even stay in this area, at least switch to a different room). If we suspect they are going to return, is there a place that we could set an ambush?

Here's a current map with the eladrin removed



The small "pillars" in the NE room are waist high blocks of ice.

The "curtains" in the casters room block LOS and take a standard action to move through (if you're not an ice eleadrin...). They also deal cold damage if you try to pass or put your hands into them.

I really don't think they have anything to do with getting out of here.

Ken, have we been in every room in this icy area? If so, have we seen any other exits out of this area, including the dragons lair?

There are no doors/corridors in the "icy" area that the party hasn't explored, that the party knows of...

Hey, didn't that one knight go into the NW room? Search the north wall of that room for secret doors. Take 20 if I have to. Oh, crawl across the ice to avoid damage.

They all when NE...

The east/north and the door where Kaddim is at connect.
