I have Candelos as having 14 dex so you're +10 to hit throwing daggers. (but they have 29 AC so you need a 19...)

Candlos moves and throws a dagger 15 vs AC miss.

Since Thia can't help with the Arcane part of the trap she will twin strike. If she can help to disable the trap in anyway she will do so.

If the fiend is still up, Miri will strike it with her staff. She will not move and ask, "Are we switching strategies and investigating the altar? It still seems like if I can get adjacent to the door my breaching armor can get me through (& then I can cast the 'knock' ritual again...)"

Miri is done.

Thia does see a physical trap on the alter, but there is an arcane ward in the way which must be disabled first.

For now Thia will attack with True Strike.

You may be able to get through the door, but how will we get out if the fiends continue to spawn? I think disabling the magic on the alter is the best way to go.


Note/Reminder:
Quinn is at 40/73 hp. If he gets bloodied he'll have to make a save to see if he goes beserk..

Quinn gains 18+7hp.
Quinn is now at 65/73hp with 6/11 surges

Standard:
Use Perception check on the alter. 2+3=5
Sonya doesn't notice anything... (Thia's passive perception of 26 found what could be found)

On Candlos' turn he moves adjacent to the alter and notices that a Religion check can be used to disable the trap in addition to Arcana checks.

Standard Action:
Religion Check 2+11=13 failed

When Candelos fails the Religion check two fiends spawn near the door and attack.
Fiend #1 attacks Danna longsword 20 vs Ac miss

Danna:
Kaddim help I'm being attacked.
Someone may want to help whoever is disabling the trap. I wouldn't want everyone else trapped in here like I am.

Fiend #2 attacks Miri 28 vs Ac hits for 6hp.
Miri is currently at 42/54hp with 6/9 surges remaining.

After the Fiends attack, Quinn's turn.
Quinn uses Cleave to attack two adjacent fiends.
Cleave 31 vs Ac hits for 11hp and 5hp on another fiend. Two fiends fall.

Miri notes the following:
There are several magical and mechanical traps on the alter.

The alter contols the spawning of the fiends near the doors.

Several successful skill checks are needed to defeat the trap. After a successful Arcana check used to break the first ward, Thievery, Religion, or Arcana skills can be used.

If the party is unsuccessful in getting by all of the wards (X number of failures before Y successes), something bad may happen, but the trap will reset, in time...

Thia noted (forgot to mention...) that a Perception check before a Thievery check can aid/penalize a Thievery check.

Sonya will suggest that we start with the Perception check and have a primary PC (the best) with then next two in that skill attempt to assist in each check until we have either made the bad thing happen, or have gotten by the trap. People not doing the skill or assisting should be standing by on guard.
