Alert - Gabby, Sean, and Kerengi

The evening after arriving back at Corona Keep after the Mithbar adventure, the three of you all are not feeling very well. Please make an Endurance check on a d20 using the die roller tool and tell me the result.

Your characters are feeling tired and run down. Reply on this thread if you do anything, follow the posting rules.

Sean states he is feeling tired and crashes for the evening. If he wakes up feeling tired still he will look for a medic to see if he is getting sick.

You do not feel any better, in fact, you feel much worse. You feel sluggish and weak. You go to the Priestess who lives at the keep and she has you lie down in the chapel. The next day, you feel a little better, the day after that you feel almost like your normal self. The next day, she says you are cured and may leave the chapel.

The altar boy whispers to you that a donation equal to about two riding horses might be in order. If you are short of funds, anything would be acceptable.

If I am actually feeling better I would ask what happened so I can remember this for the future. I donate 97 gp and thank the priestess.

Elysa the Priestess of Corona Keep, in her chapel, with the altar boy nearby and two soldiers in the room, but on the otherside of the chapel (they are praying), says to Sean Hawkins on the day that Sean asks what happened to him (assuming it is the day Elysa tells Sean he is cured).
Elysa says that you had a very serious fever of some sort, you had some wounds on your left arm and shoulder that seemed infected, like you received a very large bite wound. You were very lucky that you are as healthy as you are, there was a danger that you could have died. Perhaps something happened on the last adventure you were on? Hopefully all of your friends are okay.

Just noticed this. Endurance is a con check right? 18 plus 0 con bonus, +2 half level = 20. Not bad! :-)
Yes, we'll talk to Sean & Elysa and get fixed up.
She has +9 Nature and will try to figure out what bit us... also +6 Religion if it's something undead et. al.

No, Endurance is one of your class skills for which CON is the key characteristic. It is not a CON check, it is an Endurance skill check. Assuming you are NOT trained in Endurance, you do NOT feel any better, but you don't feel worse either. If Gabby were posted on the Player Character section of the site, the DM could tell you what happens.
You go to see Elysa and she asks if you and Sean fought the same creature(s) recently as Sean had similar infected puncture wounds. (Uhhmmm, maybe if you reviewed the last recap or two, you might figure out what it was...)
Please either post Gabby on the PC section, or let me know what her Endurance modifier is.

Brad, per our phone conversation, Gabby's Endurance check modifier is + 2.
Elysa's Heal check modifier is higher at + 12. The next day, you feel a little better. The day after that you feel like your normal self, well, at least as far as the fever from the garbage monster, Elysa says she doesn't know what to do regarding your "other" condition. As the altar boy assists you with gathering the towels and picture of fresh water from your bedside, he mentions a donation on the order of 100 GP or so might be appropriate, but whatever small donation you would care to make would be enough.

Perhaps a pitcher of fresh water, and aid, might be worth a 100gp donation, but giving a sick gal a mere picture of fresh water when she's thirsty would just irritate her, especially when she's being hit up for donations! ...If that's just a typo and not a tease, that's different! :-)

...okay, a pitcher of fresh water then...oh, and a portion of the money goes to a fund that supports the families of those in the service of the keep that give their lives in the line of duty.
