Hello would you check out Aarahgast in People, Places and things in the buffy-verse thread? Let me know what you think of the character and how I can make him better.

Thanks!
Raistlin.

What do you mean? We played in the buffy verse with Bradley on Friday and it was lots of fun.
I just want to tweak my character a bit because I was not overjoyed with his performance.

I'm actually inspired to write a recap... everyone did well, but Ember was by far the SuperStar! Two rounds she toasted 100 vampires who each had over 90 hits (they were not minions). We figured she gave over 6,000 hit points of damage in two rounds. Clearly that's got to be a record.

Yeah that was awesome. Ember took 100 Vampires that each had 100+ health down to 0 in two rounds

93 hit points each. Let's not exaggerate! ;-) With the 4 really tough guards and Dr Walsh, it was a 10,000 hit point encounter! I thought it'd be harder... Shocked

It was going to be harder until Ember electrocuted them all. They had just started to control us when Ember finished.

Sorry, been bogged down with work/school...

I haven't played a barbarian before and am not sure what their strengths/weaknesses are.

I found what looks like a good guide on the WotC optimization forum:
Barbarian Handbook

I'm not sure what your goals are. More multi target damage, more single target, more durability...

He was pretty durable in the last one so I think that is fine. Some more single target damage though against undead/vampires would be good though.

Wow! That is an awesome guide. I think the super charger one is what I am looking for in my barbarian.
The multiclassing is kinda confusing for me though and I don't really understand it. Everything else makes sense though.

Multiclassing isn't really two or more classes.

Multiclassing is a feat that you take for the other class which gives you a toned down version of something from that class, lets you train a skill from the other class, and finally lets you take the other classes paragon paths.

Dual classing lets you pick abilities from 2 classes.

Ahh! Thank you that helps.

Do they have Dual Classing in 4e? I loaned out my players handbook so can't check.

Sadly I had to log in to get the correct terminology; it's called Hybrid in 4E. You take 2 classes and get to pick core features, feats, and powers from each class. Ashe is a hybrid Paladin | Sorcerer.

Here is page which details multiclassing a lot better than I did.
