Game On! September 11th Slave Ship

How are characters handled that rely on specific weapons?

Don't know if I can make it yet but was wonder about

PC's for Slave Ship are 20th level. Everyone who's playing will need 2 version of their PC's though
1. The regular version.
2. A version with no magic items, and all physical stats (Str, Dex, Con) set to 11. Also, the only items they should have are a knife, short sword and a crossbow.

The version with no magic items:
Does race stay the same as regular?
Class powers stay the same but reduce by stats decrease?
Do stats go up for race and advanced level or are they still 11?

Race will all change to human.

Yes, damage and to hits will go down based on your stat reduction. Basically your mind will move into a human body. So powers that rely on items will go away.
And no, I don't need a copy of your guy.

No. They can still have them. Just make it house ruled.
Make sure you duplicate the character.

I assume that's the same for stat dependent powers...

This seems to greatly affect some PCs more than others.

The last Slaveship PC I played was a Sorcerer which is Char based and won't have their main state changed.

A Fighter or Rogue will have their primary stat decreased, could be a major penalty for some.

If a character had Dex as a dump stat and was 9, does it now increase to 11?

Do characters keep their racial stat adjustment or change to Human (+2 to one ability and +1 feat or other human ability)

Stats can go up or down depending on what you had previously.
Just change the character to Human and whatever the Character Builder does, go with it.

This is a one-time adventure so I'm not worrying about any balancing issues.

Okay, so basically, start with all stats at 11 at 1st or am I 20th and all my final stats after level adjustments are 11 ?

11 is your base scores, then adjust from there.

Still waiting for confirmation from: Mick, Fej, Art for a fourth player. Right now, Stuart, Brad and Ken w Ross as DM.

Remember it's only physical stats (Str, Dex, Con) set to 11.

Brad will be there all day. Come as early as you wish. I'll get off work at two thirty and be home by like 3:15 PM or so.
