Who is available when?

I might be available sometime this weekend, Sunday the 6th would probably be the best bet.

I am going fishing starting on the 9th and won't be back until Sunday the 13th. The 27th I will be camping.

I can play on the 11th/12th, but won't be able to DM for a while.

I can run a Buffyverse adventure either this Fri or Sun, or next Fri or Sun. Let's decide when works best for everyone. I'll type an intro shortly... -Kenji

Giles, the former Watcher for many of the Slayers, noticed that your camp in the CA National Forest Park is right next to a Ley Line convergence point... a perfect spot for a spiritual retreat! "I may not be your Watcher anymore, <10th elite> but I still have some things to teach you..." he says, as he tells you about the original Slayer Prophesy and the Vampire takeover 26,000 years ago...

Giles also thinks a retreat would also be good to clear your heads and form a plan... The Vampires have started the 'Great Harvest' and, while dealt a great blow in NY, now dominate openly the entire East Coast of the Americas. The living races are in danger of being wiped out to all but feed stock for the Blood Suckers.

And the Slayer forces are starting to become uneasy... the 10,000 Shambalan warriors from Middle Earth (11th-15th, mostly, few 16th-20th), on one hand are looking much better now that they each have a Sunsword to wield, but are particularly poor and jumpy night time fighters. The foreign Sunless nights are taking their toll on their nerves. Compounding that, the 500 Mind Flayer forces (mostly 20th, some up to 25th) with their Inhuman ways and invasive telepathy, is an uneasy alliance. Especially when they dominate a Shambalan and make them dance for their pleasure... The current 'holding pattern' won't hold forever, and everyone is looking forward to the action of freeing the Eloi of the Moon (though they aren't quite sure what their roles will be...)

A little ways into the forest, behind the Mind Flayers and Shambalans, Giles has the Slayers form a circle around a campfire. He then starts tracing a circle in the sand with his feet, while rattling a painted Goard and chanting incoherently. After several minutes of you all quietly watching him like he's nuts, he lights a peace pipe and passes it around to all of you... "Clear your minds and think back to the beginning", you hear through a fog as the pipe is passed...

You dimly see a room full of scientists startled by something on the consoles. "Did you see that? Tell me we recorded!..." "All recordable wavelengths, we got it. Don't know what it was..." You next see a bunch of armored guards storm into the room... "Think back to the beginning", you hear Giles' voice again, and the scene fades...

You are now watching a group of kings, queens, and leaders overlooking a war ravaged land as they note the Stars above. "They are almost in perfect 'Convergence'" they cooed as they pointed to a cluster of 12 Stars in almost perfect alignment. You recognize the cluster too as you were just observing the very thing a few nights earlier, when you hear Giles' voice again, this time sounding very wounded and desperate...

"Slayers! Wake Up! Come back NOW!!..."

Saving throw at -2 penalty because of something called 'Peyote' in the peace pipe... initiatives only for those who wake up...

I can play this weekend, and I can DM on Sept 11th if we play then.

Please share your thoughts on the intro for the next Buffyverse. I'll add more campaign background soon for the new players and as a refresher for everyone else...

PC's for Slave Ship are 20th level. Everyone who's playing will need 2 version of their PC's though
1. The regular version.
2. A version with no magic items, and all physical stats (Str, Dex, Con) set to 11. Also, the only items they should have are a knife, short sword and a crossbow.

I'm totally up for two weekends in a row. I don't think there will be any trouble recruiting a player or two from the WAR 2! series if we run short for Buffy or Slave Ship...

Which adventure is this Friday? Slave Ship or Buffy?

Buffy this week. Slaveship next week.

FYI: This is not even close to the last Slave Ship game. We are going all the way to 30.

This Friday is about 40%, Sunday is a much better day. I will see what I can do though.

Next weekend I am totally out unless you guys want to head down to the Crooked River in OR.

Don't change it on my account. I'd like to play (and still might) but Fridays are usually better for the group.

I'm usually busy on Sundays w Boy Scouts, Advance Black Belt Training, or just regular martial arts class if there isn't Advanced Class. Even if I don't go, I still need to provide transport for Kobe. If we do a Sunday, you guys are welcome to use my place, but I'd be in and out.

Oops. I thought we played 26th last time, maybe it was 24th. Okay, it was 24th as that's what Stu has too... This Friday: 25th level Buffyverse! :-)

I am going to be late tonight. Somewhere between 7:30 and 8. Don't hold the game on my account, I will try to get there when I can.
