Looks awesome! Here’s a summary of my character. I also used Wizards Of The Coast Character Builder.



Name: Thrain Soflaug Race: Dwarf Class: Fighter (Weaponmaster)

Background: Windrise Ports Theme: Ordained Priest Multiclassing: Rune Priest God: Ioun.

Final Ability Score: STR 20, CON 19, DEX 11, INT 10, WIS 10, CHA 8
Trained Skills: Athletics 12, Endurance 13, Perception 7, Religion 7

Two-handed Weapon Talent gives me +1 to attack roles.


Feats: 
Dwarven Weapon Training gives me +2 to damage rolls.

Student Of Divine Runes (Rune Priest) and 
Novice Power (Rune Priest, see powers).

Inventory: Black Iron Scale Armor +1, Frost Craghammer +1, Helm of Seven Deaths.

Some of my more interesting powers:



At Will:
 Wicked & Brash Strike: These attacks do 1D10+13 damage (1WP+STR+CON)



Stance: 
Boundless Endurance: Regeneration while bloodied: 6 hp per round (2+CON)



Encounter:

Shining Symbol: Blast 3, Each enemy in the blast takes 1D8+5 damage and takes a -2 penalty to attack rolls until the end of my next turn.


Flames Of Purity: Blast 3, Each enemy takes 1D10+9 fire damage, and each ally gains 3 hit points or +3 power bonus to damage rolls.
Crushing Blow: Does 2D10+13 damage.

...and decided which side the party will be on, Royalists, Rebel, looks like Rebel? So, the party is forming...

Any current Westron Citizen want to take the role of either Leader or Controller and, well, of Westron "Adviser"? Sounds like there's some 4.0 experience already.

@Teramotos: Personally, I never really liked the mechanics of specific "roles". Sounds too MMORPG. For me roleplaying is all about actual believable characters who do not always fit neatly into a designated role. They're individuals, not avatars. That being said, I guess my character is primarily a "Defender", because of my insane Constitution, Rune Priest healing abilities, and Fighter ability to mark enemies so that they get a penalty if they don't attack me. I do some pretty good amount of damage, too (standard 1D10+13). By virtue of multi classing into Rune Priest, I also get some "Leader" powers, such as giving +3 to ally damage rolls (Flames Of Purity). This will improve if I (survive to) gain more levels. I also have some AOE (area of effect) burst attacks, so yeah it's a bit of a mixed bag. But I guess, I'm mostly a "Defender". Background:Wineries Ports gave me an extra language, so I can speak the native tongue. So I could be a native adviser, if need be. Let's see what characters everyone else rolls, but if it makes a good fit I can certainly play the adviser, if you like. --- Really looking forward to this! Smile

Okay no sweat. Looks like rebels. Also IMHO any characters can work. There are those that might feel that " optimizing " the mix of the party is of high importance, Hmmm I'm thinking if everyone is playing a PC they enjoy then that's good enough. No adventure ready this second, but are there enough who have pcs ready for a practice run / pc building session?

1 question on the starting rolls your starting rolls are different than what I had the were str 18 int 12 wis 14 dex 16 con 18 and chr was missing but I cked my notes it was 11. so why was there a change

You get a certain number of "points" in the Character Builder to assign to your stats. As your stats get higher, it costs more to raise a Characteristic. In other words, it may only cost you 1 point to move from a 10 to an 11, but it might cost you 4 points to move from 17 to 18.

Here's the backstory I made for my character; a Dwarven Fighter (Weapon Master), named Thrain Soflaug.

History:

First a soldier in various Dwarven war campaigns. Then, after obeying orders to genocide a village of civilans Thrain was haunted by nightmarish consciousness, which led him to enter a monastery near Wineries Ports. Served there as priest for twelve years, trying to forget the wars.

Monastery had continued clashes with a band of bandits. After a night bandit ambush, Thrain’s mentor, Thorfin Darrak had gone missing. The remaining masters of the monastery have commissioned Thrain to once again take up arms in the name of their God, Ioun, to find his missing master and to serve Ioun in any way possible. This has led Thrain on a number of side quests and adventures, in which he has once again honed his fighting skills, and when he has time he continues his religious studies and devotion, which include rudimentary Rune Mastery. Because of his trauma (with village genocide) Thrain often mourns the dead in battle. A reluctant but fierce fighter.
