Retail Wargamming - # 9 Crit?

1 Retail Wargamming - # 9 Crit? on Thu Mar 20, 2014 4:52 pm it wasn't too long ago that American Eagles, a long time hobby shop went out of business. Then the Dragon's Lair in Bellevue... now the Warhammer store in Factoria, shoot, could have had a really nice gaming table cheap!!!

Is it my imagination or is retail war gaming (actual physical stores) dying in Puget Sound...

It's dying everywhere. It's way to expensive for younger people to get into. If they want to play mass army gaming they can buy a video game like StarCraft.
So as the older players die off the customers go away.

Also the internet makes it easier to get items cheaper. Gaming and comic stores are slowly becoming extinct.

Kazoo the Kender: "Hmm, I'll take....the Wand of Wonder." The rest of the party regretted giving Kazoo the first treasure pick.
