Lots of changes in Diablo since the v2 patch was released.
- The Auction Houses have been shut down which limits what items can be transferred from player to player.
- Legendary items are now account bound and can't be given to others.
- The drop rate for good/great items has be greatly increased. Yesterday I found a legendary wand with high DPS and allows me to have two Hydra's active at the same time.
- Normal difficulty was a breeze. I started a new Hardcore character and pretty much walked through Acts 1-4 with little problem. I remember taking 10 or more tries to kill Diablo my first time through. It was very easy this time (especially with two Hydras
). - After you kill diablo, you can go to any Act at any difficulty. You don't have to go through Normal->Nightmare->Hell->Inferno.
- I haven't tried the Crusader yet, seems a lot like the old Paladin.
- They may need to adjust the difficulty and items a bit more. The monsters seemed a bit too easy and I'm gaining a ton of experience (though one of the items I found gives me exp for gold I find). After killing Diablo for the first time with my new char they were at level 48.
