Replying to this email anyways because I am using my mom's laptop and don't have the board bookmarked. Bad news: I won't make the meeting. Good news: The reason I can't make it is because I'm in the hospital and recovering well from liver transplant surgery. Please spread the news to the guys for me!

@ Krystoff,
Yes, my liver is just fine. It is Trevor that received the transplant. His energy level should become much improved. This is great news.

Update, this is Stuart posting for Trevor as my (Stuart's) liver is just fine.

I'm doing pretty good. I'm mobile enough that I can get around the house with no problems, but putting too much strain on my abs hurts like crazy. I've got some prescription painkillers to help with the constant low-level aching. At the moment I am looking terribly skinny, and I feel how weak I am. When you go through a surgery like this your body stops everything to repair itself, so everything I eat is going to go straight into patching up my incision. Meaning it'll be a while before I can regain any muscle mass. The thing is, I am doing way better than most liver transplant patients.

Another common thing with surgery is that fluid starts collecting in the abdomen, and that's going on with me too. The far right side of my suture started leaking so I've got an ostomy bag stuck on there to collect it and keep me dry. Yesterday my surgical staples were removed everywhere but under the bag. It still looks like someone tried to saw through me and stopped halfway.

I'm keeping myself occupied right now with a little video gaming and movie watching, and quite a lot of reading on my kindle. Exercise for me at this point is walking, and some small leg and arm exercises the physical therapy team gave me.
