Place holder...please make this a sticky. Should this be a combined item making and treasure collection thread? I think Miri's item creation s/b separate. Discuss...

Dust, dust, dust! All above & below. (temporary exception would be the items that Kaddim is using until after we get his stuff back)

Miri is interested in the +2 Dynamic blade that Kaddim is currently using after he gets his stuff back. I can slightly benefit from some of those other items, but I'd only keep them until I can afford a better item if I dust it.

What party treasure items is Kaddim currently using? Does anyone else have party treasure items that weren't yet actually awarded?

Yes, definitely use that.

I'm using a +2 Flaming Longsword and a +3 Magic Hide Armor right now.

No, she can't convert one type of item to another. She can transfer the enchantment from one item to another similar item. Or she can make a lightning weapon (using one of her creation slots) then dust the flaming one.

I just noticed that this is an unnamed bonus, so stacks with her other items. At first I thought it was only an extra +1 (since my staff is already +2).

But it's not "using an implement" though, but "using a weapon as an implement".

That means right now it can only used on her staff, but at 11th (if we're still playing these characters when we finish this campaign) I'll be able to use it with a longsword too... can it be transfered to different weapons, or does it bond to a single item?

The party currently has three keys...

Key #1 (found in the library off of Karavakos "the Wise")
Adamantine Key: It is inscribed (in Draconic) "First in hardness, not in place".

Key #2 (found on level 2 Karavakos "the Mad")
Mithril Key: It is inscribed (in Elven) "The night is mine")

Key #3 (found on Karavakos "the Black")
Gold Key: It is inscribed (in Dwarven) "Strength second")

I went back through both threads when I saw the latest key since it had an inscription but I didn't see an inscription on the abomination key nor did I see the first key we found. Man we need to pay more attention to these things.
